Drill holes

Use 5/16" drill bit and drill the 4 holes
needed to mount top plate on top.
Use same bolts to mount metal stays
on inside of vulcher shell.

Insert 4 1" carriage bolts thru top plate
shell and metal stays, Install nuts,
alighn and tighten.

3/4" carriage bolts.

hold bottom section in place.

Metal Baffle

Vulcher 2 in closed position shows
metal baffle inside covering discharge
opening to act as a guide to direct
grass back to deck discharge area to
be sucked into mower deck. Deflector
baffle should be place so end of baffle
ends at the end of the discharge area.

Place metal grass deflecting baffle so
that the trailing edge meets up with
the end of the discharge opening.
This allows grass to follow the curve
back under the deck to be cut again.
Use existing bolt if it works otherwise
you will have to install a new set of
bolts to hold the deflector sheild in
place.
