The holidays are upon us and that
means the kids and grandkids will be
visi ng, along with all of their wireless
devices and gadgets! All that tex ng and
face me can use up a lot of data! TCT
internet customers can help their family
and holiday guests save money by using
their home-based (767-8020) network
to connect wireless devices, like laptops,
tablets and even smart phones.
Wireless home networks are
convenient and allow you and your
guests to easily connect to the internet
through your router. Depending on its
loca on, your router should provide
adequate coverage throughout the
home. Most computers and devices
can be set to automa cally discover
exis ng networks. They will alert the
user that your network is available and if
a username and password is required to
access your network (remember, security
is an important part of a home wireless
network, if you don’t have a username
and password anyone will be able to use
your signal). If you are not sure what your
username and password are, just call
into TCT’s Customer Service Center and
they will help get you that informa on by
answering a few security ques ons.
To learn more about how to connect
wireless devices to your TCT homebased network, view our how-to video
by visi ng our website www.tctelco.net.
From the homepage click on the Internet
icon, scroll to the bo om of the internet
page and click on the “connec ng
