The I-Box Plate was developed by our World Cup racers to harness the power of the new ski constructions. The I-Box plate
combines a rigid aluminum I-beam, allowing minimal torsion in the power zone under the foot. Two external lifters allow the
ski to flex at the extremities, torsionally adapting to the terrain. The I-Box Plate plate is comes mounted on all race skis (DH,
SG, GS, and SL) and excepts only 200, 150 Axial2 MXF World Cup and Axial2 120 World Cup bindings only.
Radical RX World Cup GS
New GS Sidecuts / Constructions Y39
The Y39 continues an evolution from last season’s successful GS skis. After major testing by our top athletes, we have been able to perfect and synchronize our sidecuts and flexes. All our GS race skis are built
in laminate construction with race department wood cores and #2 race department bases. The new Y39
model is designed with a wider waist width for increased stability.

MXF World Cup Binding
New MXF World Cup Binding replacing FKS
Rossignol World Cup athletes have been developing and perfecting a new binding over the last 3 years. Used by the top World
Cup athletes last season it is now available for all FIS and USSA racers in the 07-08 season.
The Performance Geometry has two lateral arms of the heel piece that are angled down to apply greater pressure to the edge
of the ski limiting energy loss. Torsional stiffness was increase 40% translating into less play between the boot and binding, and
a dramatic improvement in the transfer of power to the snow.
The binding’s forward pressure has been increased 30% from the FKS, enhancing the interface between boot and binding. The
increase of pressure influences ski behavior, improving rebound and responsiveness. The forward pressure is kept constant by
the Maxi Flex band connecting the toe and heel, making the power consistent. The heel has 25mm of elastic travel; the longest
travel of any binding on the market, meaning less pre-releases.

Free-Hand Plate Mounting Guidelines
1. Assembly plate and position plate center on ski center mark
2. Align the plate side-to-side on the ski. This can be done visually and/or
measured if you are unsure with a tape measure or caliper
3. Secure the plate with at least 2 clamps
4. Install the fixed inserts. It is best to use these on all fixed parts of the plate
for initial drilling even if you will not be using the fix pieces in that location,
this helps get the hole accurately centered in the floating slot on the plate.
5. If the plate does not have fixed inserts then position the floating inserts in
the hole and center them in the floating slot of the plate
6. Using a regular 7/32-inch drill bit. Lightly tap the drill bit through all the
inserts, making a small mark (dimple) on the ski. Do not use any pressure
7. Remove the plate from the ski, you will have center drill marks (dimples)
on the ski were you need to drill with the proper ski drill bit
8. Drill all the dimples with a 4.1x9.5 ski drill bit
9. Mount the plate
10. Mount Binding in the correct holes for the boot sole length
