The Program
XLR8 CUSSA Alpine Racing provides result
driven coaching for junior racers seeking to
reach the next level of ski racing. Our goal is
to develop junior racers, physically and
mentally, by using a variety of proven ski
racing drills and progressive USSA teaching
techniques geared towards higher level
racers.
Our positive teaching approach leads to
strong character, increases self esteem and
instills confidence on and off the hill.
Our feeder program, XLR8 Alpine Racing,
has a proven track record of developing
young skiers into top state and national JDT
ski racers. CUSSA athletes will train in all
Alpine disciplines; GS, Slalom, Super G, and
Downhill. Skiers are grouped by ability and
ski with the same professional coaches
throughout the season for consistency and
individual attention.
Your Coaches
XLR8 coaching staff is comprised of U.S. Ski
& Snowboard Association (USSA) certified
coaches (level 100 or higher) with years of
racing and coaching experience at the state,
collegiate and national level. The staff is
dedicated to bringing a heightened level of
enthusiasm and innovative teaching
techniques to benefit your junior racer.

• Includes training Tue, Wed, Thu and
Sun at Mt. Brighton and coaching at 3
weekend CUSSA races
• Eligible for The Vail Training Option with
coach approval

• Depart Friday evening and return Monday

Northern Michigan (venue TBD)
• Target audience: high school and national
competitors
