Hudson Yacht and Marine is located in Xiamen, an exciting and beautiful area of
China with a fast growing marine industry. With good support from the local
Xiamen Government, this area has become one of the main hubs for yacht and boat
building in southwest China.
The factory site is situated beside a harbor for easy launching and sea access and
covers an area of 135,000 square meters. An investment of over USD 50 million in
factory and plant makes this new company a potent force for the construction of all
leisure craft.

Centre over looking the beautiful Wu Yuan Bay. A versatile building plays an important
role as a conference centre for product launch and display, training for new technologies,
Government presentations, and a delightful place to take delivery of your new vessel. A

Hudson Yachts & Marine was founded in 2009 by Hudson Wang. An experienced and
successful manufacturer has turned his business skills towards his passion for boats.
Already with partnerships with world renowned brands, Gunboat, J Boats , and luxury
British yacht brand – Pearl, he aims to build the world’s finest yachts for both the Asian
and world markets.
Paul Hakes, President of HYM.
With a wealth of experience and great reputation as one of the worlds leading race boat
builders for both quality and performance, Paul heads the new high performance
division of HYM. An exciting new division building racing yachts and high technology
composite components
William Jelbert , Gunboat Technical & Project Manager.
With specialised skills in construction management, engineering design, and project
management, William heads the Gunboat projects
Jackie Wang, Pearl Technical & Project Manager.
Years of experience in the luxury yacht industry, Jackie coordinates engineering of the
interior with design and shop floor execution.

Howard Chen, Project Manager of Jaguar Catamarans Division.
With over 10 years working experience in super yacht interiors and designs,
Howard is in charge of the Jaguar Catamarans range.
Mick Mckie, Technical & Production Manager of Motor Yacht Division.
With a wealth of European boat building experience, skills in management, construction
and Engineering of super yachts down to production boats, Mick heads and Manages the
production projects and teams.
Yu-chun Chen, Gunboat Engineer.
An experienced design engineer, Yu-chun heads the coordination of design information
and engineering for the Gunboat sailing catamaran range.
Emilie Petitbon.
BEng(Masters)Mechanical Engineering. Emilie’s skill set and experience comes from
composite engineering and processes involved with composite rig construction.
Eliot Thorne
BSc (Hons) Mathematics, and a graduate of the Landing School Yacht Design program.
Responsible for the technical development of new models, Eliot brings experience from
the world of luxury cruising yachts.

As part of our ongoing commitment to offer world-class quality to our clients,
research and development from design through to building techniques is a
constant process. A new product data management system (PDM) has now been
introduced which guarantees design drawing control, with all projects using Solid
Works. Customer satisfaction is the prime concern of our business, and having
experienced professionals in the project management and the boat manufacturing
teams ensures this commitment. With capacity and capability for stylish design
and effective building techniques we fulfill the requirements of the different boats
