ACCESSIBILITYGUIDE SERVICES 1. Handicap accessible parking is provided. Please ask the Toll Attendant for the exact location. Permits are required to use these parkingspaces.Regularparkingfeesapply. 2. First Aid is located on the restaurant deck near the main plaza and may be used to accommodate storage for prescribed medicationsand/orserveasaprivateareafor medicalnecessities. 3. Although outside food and beverage are not permitted inside the park, individuals with special dietary needs due to a medical condition will be permitted to bring in two sandwichbagsizecontainers.Coolersarenot permitted. Guests are permitted to exit and returnthroughoutthedaywithahandstamp. 4. All restrooms have wheelchair accessible stalls. The three restroom locations are the Main Plaza restroom, Doo Drop Inn and Fort Peoriarestroom. 5. Alimitedamount ofaquaticwheelchairs are availableforGueststobeusedfreeofcharge. Theaquaticwheelchairisusedtosafelyenter and exit the water. These are provided on a first come first serve basis and may not be reserved inadvance.Theaquaticwheelchair maybeusedatKahunaBayorSurfCitywave pools. If desired, Guests may use their personal wheelchair. Guests using a wheelchair will be permitted in water depth not to exceed the seat of the chair. We do also have regular wheelchairs available for rentatGuestServices. 6. There are two self-service pool lifts available foruse.Oneliftis locatedat SoakCity. The secondliftislocatedattheLazyRiver.Atube will be provided for Guests transferring into theLazyRiver. 7. Service animals mustbe physicallycontrolled on a leash or harness at all times. Service animals are not permitted in pools or on attractions. AService Animal relief station is locatedattheentranceoutsidethegate. 8. We want all Guests to have an enjoyable day and have created this guide to assist Guests with disabilities so they may plan their day accordingly. Thisguideoutlines the services weofferaswellasprovidessuggestedpaths of travel, ride requirements, and general information. ThroughoutSplishSplash,pathsoftravelare designatedwithappropriatesignage.Please review all posted attraction safety rules and requirements prior to participating. In general,persons withanymedical,healthor self-imposed restrictions on their physical activity, are frail, overweight for their body type, or under doctor’s care, should not use the attractions. For safety reasons, please follow the Lifeguard’s instructions at all times. Life jackets are available free of chargeatGuestServices.Youmayalsousea lifejacketfromthebinsinfrontofeachwave poolfreeofcharge,buttheselifejacketsare onlyallowedinourwavepools. Only you know your own swimming ability, andthatofyourchildrenandanyoneyouare supervising. We strongly recommend all Guests under 48” or who are weak or nonswimmers wear Coast Guard approved life jackets. We suggest that supervising companionskeepGuestsrequiringassistance within arms- reach and under close supervisionduringallwateractivities.Ifyou may need any additional assistance throughout your visit, please go to Guest ServicestospeakwithaParkManagerasitis ourprioritythatyourvisitisasbarrier-freeas possible. RIDEINFORMATION RideAdmission Each attraction has specific requirements established by the ride manufacturer. These requirementsvaryridetorideandarepostedat each attraction. In general, admission is restrictedbyheight,weight,medicalconditions, and appropriate behavior. In order to participate on all slide attractions, Guests must have independent head and neck control, full body control, and the ability to brace and balance. In addition to the requirements listed above, Guests participating on tube attractions mustbeabletograspandholdonwithatleast onehandandmaintainanuprightseatedriding position.Guestsmustbeabletoclimbtheslide tower unassisted to participate on all slide attractions. Please visit: www.splishsplash.com for the ride descriptions,height,andweightrequirements. ProstheticDevices Prosthetic Devices must be evaluated by Park Managementpriortoparticipationonanyslides. As long as the Guest can ensure the prosthetic device is secure and that there is not any exposed metal, it may be permitted on some attractions. CastsandBraces Guestswithcastsorbraceswillberestricted fromridingwhenrequiredbythemanufacturer. Guestswithcastsmayberequiredtoadd paddingtoensurethesafetyofallparticipants. Guestswithfullarm(elbowrestricted)andfull leg(kneerestricted)castsorbracesare restrictedfrommostattractionsandslides.We suggestyoudelayyourvisituntilthecastis removed. 6 7 4 1 3 Stairs 5 2 8 ADDITIONALMAPLEGEND GuestswithAutismSpectrumDisorder Due to the design of waterslides there are not accessibleattractionexits,requiringGuestswith autism spectrum disorder and mobility limitationstowaitinline.Severalattractionsdo not have lines including Kahuna Bay, Surf City, Soak City and Octopus Pool.
