High Temperature Furnaces
Protective Gas Furnaces & Special Furnaces
High temperature furnaces HT
HT 1800 GT
Tmax 1820°C
All high temperature furnaces are designed in the most advanced
technologies for universal heat treatment applications under air,
protective gas atmospheres and vacuum with a high temperature
accuracy. Heaters are selected in relation to working temperatures
and atmospheres: Kanthal Super (MoSi2), molybdenum, tungsten
or graphite.
The insulation is made either of high quality ceramic fiber, graphite
felt or porous alumina oxide bricks, making the HT's highly energy
efficient, hence allowing fast heating cycles. Through double
chamber design are fast cooling and low casing temperatures
achieved.
The modular design of this
furnace type and the wide
range of available options
enable tailor-made solutions
for all applications.

and bonding materials.
Graphite heating elements, Cfelt insulation. Temperature
control up to 1000 °C by
trailing thermocouple; above
that temperature control by
an infrared pyrometer;

Gas flushing cycles are reduced to a minimum by pre-evacuating
the furnace chamber. Tmax: 2600°C (in reducing and neutral
atmospheres. Chamber dimensions: Ø 200 x 200 mm; max. heating
power approx. 50 kW. Options: E.g. gas feeding device, burn-off
device, with flame supervision and condensate trap.

Induction heated centrifugal casting machines for jewellery, medical technics, precision casting Sophisticated high frequency technology
and facility of adjusting precisely the melting- and casting atmosphere (normal, vacuum, vacuum - protective gas) allow production of high
quality precision parts by centrifugal casting of metals, e.g. platinum, gold, silver, nickel brass, copper, bronze, steel and their alloys. For
systems of the Platicast, SUPERCAST series we emphasized economy. Outstanding characteristics of this series are: high melting capacity at
low energy consumption, simple operation and control by microprocessors, serviceability by printed circuit board technology, minimum
floor space required. The units are designed and manufactured in accordance with all applicable codes and regulations.

Microwave Furnaces
MKT Microwave Chamber Dryer
ApplicationIn the ceramic industry microwaves are mainly used for drying of sensitive products. With conventional heating, these products
require long drying time or have a high rejection rate. The special advantage of microwaves in this process is the reduction in the drying
time, which results in a smaller amount of dies being needed. Additionally, the quality of the pieces can be improved, because of uniform
heating with the microwaves compared to the usual drying processes. Thus drying cracks at the edges of the pieces can be avoided,
resulting in a reduced rejection rate. Drying of porcelain insulators, gypsum casting moulds, porcelain figures and vases, casting cores and
moulds, grinding wheels, curing of plastics, pre-drying of sanitary ceramics and much more, rubber.
Technical Data
Microwave power 4 - 150 kW
Volume 0,1 - 100 m³
Max. temperature 200°C
Advantages of MKT (depending on application)
Ÿ Much faster heating possible
Ÿ Drastic reduction of drying time
Ÿ Homogenous heating/ drying
Ÿ Reduction of reject rate
Ÿ High energy efficiency
Ÿ Immediately ready for operation, no pre-heating
necessary
Ÿ Space saving door system
MDBT Microwave continuous belt dryer
Application
Universal drying and heating units for laboratory and production. The furnaces are suitable for general cargos, granules and powder. Wide
range of applications in ceramic, foundry, food, building materials, chemical, pharmaceutical industry and many other industries. Drying of
ceramic honeycombs: is today state of the art in case of drying of catalyst supports or diesel particulate filter, technical ceramic, e.g.
insulators. Drying of tableware, foundry cores, insulation materials. Production of fast-cooking rice by microwaves: energy saving up to 80%
during production. No water consumption as in conventional production (innovation award of German economy 2004), sterilization of wine
bottle stopper and removal of TCA (Trichloranisol), treatment of oil seeds, drying of hops, reduction of aflatoxin in nuts, pre-baking of bread.
Curing of plastics and glues and much more.
