Wine Pull: It’s a mystery! Behind those unmarked bags will be a bottle
of red or white, what vintage? What label? Who knows? Bring your cash,
because your $20 entitles you to “pull” one bottle of red or white wine.
Bottles range in value from $10-$$$, with all proceeds benefitting the
Richland Area Community Center.
Thursday, April 30, 6-9 pm, $50
It’s time for our signature fundraising event! “Plant
Yourself!” will again take place inside the beautiful
River Street Flowerland. This is our 3rd year and
it just gets bigger and better. Join us on April
30 from 6-9 pm for a casual evening filled
with fun, food, spirits, friends and flowers!
New this year, a wine pull!
Greenhouse Tours & Demonstration: Enjoy
a behind-the-scenes tour through River Street
Flowerland’s greenhouses. Learn how to
create a spectacular color combination in
a container, so that you can beautify your
home with a punch of floral color. The
greenhouse will be open for business
during the entire evening, just in time for
Mother’s Day!
One of our favorite bands, The Moody
Coyotes, is back again this year to
provide a fantastic backdrop of music
as you peruse the flowers, bid on auction
items, and enjoy the delicious food and
good company.
A Great Cause! All proceeds from this fun event benefit the Community
Center. Thanks to your support, the RACC is able to offer programs, events
and services for seniors, toddlers, teens and adults. Purchase tickets online
at richlandareacc.org or call the RACC at 269.629.9430.

After the winter we’ve had, we realize it may be
difficult to remember what perennials looks like,
but we know that day is coming when they’ll
show their beautiful buds! Get ready to get down
and dirty and bring your plants to the Perennial
Exchange! The concept is simple: bring your
well-loved (or not-so-well loved) perennials to
the Community Center in labeled pots, boxes
or bags and go home with the same amount.
If you bring five plants, take five plants, bring
10, take 10! If you don’t get around to labeling,
just bring the plants! At 9:45 am sharp, we’ll
begin the exchange, by talking about the plants
we brought and sharing what we know. New to
gardening? Join us! We have plants and knowledge to share—there are always extra plants. If
you don’t have any to bring, we accept free-will
donations in lieu of plants. This is a great way
to expand your garden, try something new or
share something you love. We’re pleased to
have the Seedlings Garden Club partner with
us again. Light treats and refreshments will be
provided. It’s a great way to spend Saturday
morning. Don’t miss it!
