PRESS RELEASE New Arrival: Fiyta Extreme 3D 1 April 2015, Singapore – After a 4-­‐year hiatus, Fiyta makes it prodigious return to Singapore with its Extreme 3D model. Recipient of the prestigious Red Dot Design Award in 2014, the Extreme 3D is bound to be a conversation starter with its ingenious design. The Extreme 3D, as the name suggests, features extreme construction angles on the cambered polycarbonate crystal and rotating peripheral hour disc. Such construction is not commonly found in the watch industry. Fiyta took a bold step with this design and is handsomely rewarded with a watch that features a whole new dimension of unusualness. Apart from design, the Extreme 3D pays tribute to Shenzhen’s past, present and future. The open-­‐
worked dial has been given a touch of industrial rawness, reminiscent of the manufacturing boom Shenzhen experienced in the 1980s, which has propelled the city to what it is today. The expansive outer dial and cambered crystal mimics the mega metropolis it is today – wide in influence, and constantly seeking to achieve greater heights for tomorrow. At the heart of both the watch and the city is a strong sense of innovativeness. The rotating peripheral hour disc developed by Fiyta allows time to be read at a 45° angle. The Extreme 3D is powered by an automatic Miyota caliber. The cambered crystal is made of polycarbonate, making it shatter-­‐resistant. The Extreme 3D tells time through two possible methods: firstly, by the use of traditional hands; secondly, through the arrow indicator at the base of the rotating peripheral hour disc.
