HP 2620 Series Switches
Managed Fast Ethernet switching for enterprise, midmarket, and branch office
networks. Five models. Rack-mountable. 24- and 48-port non-PoE, partial PoE+
and full PoE+ options. All models internal PSU with cord with optional EPR/RPS.
What’s new
•
HP Networking has begun production of the 2620 Series. Prior to this, the 2610 models have been
the managed Fast Ethernet switches in this segment. The key differences 2620 brings above the
current 2610 are IPv6 capabilities, lower acoustical levels, PoE+, additional QoS functionality, and
better energy efficiency
•
HP continues to bring new functionality to the managed Fast Ethernet space.

The new product architecture and choice of components reduce power consumption by up to 50%
versus previous generations

2620 family consists of both fanless sku options as well as variable speed fan options which significantly
reduce the acoustics of the products for deployments in open offices. Acoustics have been reduced by up
to 56% versus the previous generation.

2620 family allows for temperature ranges up to 50 degrees Celsius allowing for deployment flexibility
into a variety of environments also reducing the amount of external cooling required for the switches to
