How to make it: 1. Mount template on Thick Paper Stock. Color your Pocket Poe 2. Cut out all the parts. Make sure to cut inside the armpit of Poe as well. Be careful with the scissors! 3. Use the paper punch to make the holes indicated on the main body and both arms. 4. Match and overlap each arm hole with the body holes. The arms should be on top of the body. Join and secure with a brad. 5. Put in your pocket and enjoy! The Pocket Poe also makes a great bookmark for those quaint and curious volumes of forgo*en lore! You will need: Crayons 1 sheet of thick paper stock 2 small brads Scissors 1/16” paper punch Glue Who We Are Kevin P. John is originally from Chicago, and has lived in Dayton (where he met Kevin and Jennifer), Chicago, Los Angeles, Denver, and (now) Brooklyn. He is a resident director for aMios theater company and has directed three productions and many short plays for them. John is also an actor and has appeared on stage, television, and the web in too many parts to count. Thanks to Kevin for trusting me with his work. Megan has known Director John Pieza since she started doing theatre at age recently working the theatre scene in Atlanta, this NYC native is happy to be back home! This is Andrew’s New York International Fringe Festival debut and he is extremely grateful to be working with Playlab NYC. Jennifer Linn Wilcox (ACR, Lighting) Jennifer has compiled and banged out cues for a variety of FringeNYC shows off and on for 6 years. As a designer at FringeNYC she’s worked with Playlab NYC’s The Altoona Dada Society Presents The Velvet Gentlmen (2010), Professor Ralph’s Loss of Breath (2009) as well as Reidel Dance Theater’s Ukrainian Eggs: Terrible Tales of Tragedy and AlleGorey. This is Jennifer ‘s 3rd year as an ACR. Last year she was awarded an Honorary Volunteer Award from FringeNYC. Playlab NYC Founded in 2008, Playlab NYC is the fevered brainchild of Jennifer Wilcox and her husband Kevin P. Hale. Their debut at FringeNYC was 2009’s Professor Ralph’s Loss of Breath.
