MVP and team award certificates should be
redeemed at the Roy Hobbs World Series Headquarters
at the Lee County Stadium ticket office Friday and
Saturday.
The RHWS MVP award is a personalized Wind Shirt in
the color of the player’s choice. It will include the RHWS
MVPl logo, players name and team name. It will be
shipped to the player in January.
There are two potential upgrades on MVP Award
choices.
First is a personalized trophy bat. Cost on the bat is
$80, including shipping
and applicable taxes.
Players may opt to take the
bat and not the wind shirt,
making the cost upgrade
$40, including shipping
and applicable taxes.
Second, Roy Hobbs has a ring option available in two
sizes, the 4800 pictured here and the 5600, which can be
seen on royhobbs.com on the ring page. Cost on the
MVP rings is $289.95 for the 4800
series, $319.95 for the 5600. Both
prices include insured shipping and
applicable taxes. Players may opt
not take the wind shirt but order a
ring, and $40 will be deducted from
the cost.
Every team has an MVP certificate to redeem, and
Managers or the honored player can come to the office
and see Kim, Mac, Don or Rob to get the award order
taken care of.
The Team Award, which goes to any team winning at
least 5 games during the World Series will also receive an
award. You will be contacted by December 15 with
information on your team award and how and when it
will be delivered.

This is just a reminder that with the heat and
the humidity that everyone needs to stay
hydrated. The heat is sneaky. Don’t let it sneak
up on you.
Everyone needs to keep drinking water
before games and throughout games. Once
you get into a heat problem, you cannot make
up the lost fluid quickly; it takes time to replace
a body’s fluids once they have been depleted.
Picking up T-shirts …
The tournament T-shirt is available through
Friday only for all registered players outside
the main concession stand near the Roy Hobbs
Store on the Concourse at Lee County Stadium.
Hours to pick up the Tournament T-shirt are
from Noon to 6 p.m. With the shirt, each player
will get a tournament patch.
Exception is
Wednesday when concessions are closed.
Players will need their RHWS ID card to get
their shirts – No drivers licenses needed.

25th Anniversary Hobbs Ring
Roy Hobbs Baseball has created a 25th Anniversary ring.
The ring is a special cut bezel with ROY HOBBS WORLD
SERIES 2013 around the top of the bezel, with 5 panels on the ring
shanks for engraving.
The ring is similar to the 6300 series championship ring, the
weight being about 6 ounces. The stone is smooth, and there are
various stone color choices.
The signature on the ring is a mounting on the top of the
stone of the Roy Hobbs 25th anniversary logo centerpiece as shown
in the photo above.
The base silver ring is priced at $259.95, inclusive of all
amenities except sales tax.
You can see a sample of the ring by checking with Tom
Giffen at World Series Headquarters at Lee County Sports Complex.
