again put on a great
summer concert. This
year’s concert featured

the proud sponsor.
The concert, held at
Godman Army Airfield on

Creating Member Value Remains Our Focus
I'm pleased to report that your Fort Knox Federal Credit Union continues to outperform other credit
unions in its peer group; is ahead of projections for both loan and deposit growth; and, continues to save
members money.
All of this adds up to continuing to provide incredible value to members and potential members through
loans. From our 3 year and 5 year Adjustable Rate Mortgages, to our auto loans for new vehicles as low
as 1.74 percent APR, we are helping more members reduce their monthly payments and save more
money.
Every day we find members who have extremely high interest rate auto loans from other financial
institutions and we are able to help. According to Experian Automotive, a national vehicle sales
database, the average used vehicle loan rate is 9 percent APR. Fort Knox Federal members who qualify
can get used auto loans from the Credit Union below 3 percent APR!
For example, we helped one member recently who had a 17 percent APR auto loan at another lender.
Fort Knox Federal refinanced his loan at 4.24 percent APR saving that member more than $6,000 over
the life of the loan.
The Nominating Committee met in early September and selected nominees from the applications duly
and properly submitted for the three Board of Director positions open in 2015.

Fort Knox Federal continues to create member value as we seamlessly transition to new leadership. I'm
pleased to welcome Otto Tennant, Jr., an associate Board Member since 2010, as our newest member
of the Board of Directors. Otto is fulfilling the term of Howard Williams who retired from the Board in
July.
Fall Is A Great Time For
As we welcome Otto on to the Board, we also thank Howard for his more than 26 years of volunteer
service to the Credit Union. Howard's outstanding leadership and dedication have helped Fort Knox
Federal grow to more than $1 billion in assets while maintaining its position as one of the most stable,
financially solid and highest return on assets credit unions in the nation.
As this year winds down and we look forward to 2015, your Credit Union will continue to add member
value by improving our products and services. We have already begun by re-issuing all our VISA Credit
Cards to take advantage of improved security technology. Members will
soon be able deposit checks into their Fort Knox Federal accounts by
taking a picture with the camera in their cell phones. The remote deposit
capture (RDC) system allows scanned checks to be transmitted by
encrypted Internet connection for deposit. Also, we'll soon announce
another expansion of our branch office network.
Your Credit Union's growth is based on a very solid foundation built over
years by visionary and expert leadership from your Board of Directors and
professional staff. As we continue in this transition period, we will also
continue to 'stay the course' of building greater member value and
improving the quality of our members' financial lives.
And as I have said before, it is my privilege to serve as your President and
CEO and I will continue to work diligently, along with our dedicated Board
of Directors and professional staff, to serve
our members and fulfill the mission of Fort
Knox Federal Credit Union.
Home Improvements
Simple maintenance can avoid major problems.
Autumn's falling temperatures signal now is a great time to
consider winterizing your home and yard. Time to check the
roof for any damaged or missing shingles to prevent future
roof leaks, which can lead to water damage and ceiling
stains, causing even bigger—and more costly--problems.
Fall is also a great time to clean up the outside of your home:
washing windows, pressure washing decks and outside
walls, and all those yearly maintenance projects that will help
increase the value of your home and save you money in the
long run.
Fall is also the perfect time to open a Home Equity Line of
Credit from Fort Knox Federal Credit Union for the money
you'll need for all these seasonal projects. You can use your Equity Line of Credit for more than
home improvements: such as consolidating high interest bills or debt, emergency funds, education
costs or a much needed family vacation.

with our low rates, you'll save even more money in the long run.
