Wow, time flies. It seems like we had just completed the last
issue and now we are already on our 3rd Quarter Issue of
Golden Bridge 2012. Anyway, this would not have been made
possible without the commitment and great teamwork that
we have here at Public Gold. Therefore, a big thank you to
those who have contributed their efforts in making this issue
a success!

Hari-hari menarik dan hebat. Itulah kata-kata untuk menyimpulkan pengalaman selama 5 hari 4 malam
di Perth dalam program Public Gold Leadership Seminar 2011. Percutian yang manis bermula sejak kami
berkumpul di KLIA dan terus bersambung dengan mengunjungi tempat-tempat menarik seperti Perth
Mint, The Pinnacles, menelusuri Sungai Swan, Lobster Shack, Kanggaro Farm, bermain sand ski di padang
pasir, membeli belah patung-patung kanggaro, koala, coklat dan boomerang serta banyak lagi tempattempat dan aktiviti menarik tidak dapat digambarkan melalui penulisan. Suasana dan udara nyaman di bandar
Perth amat dirasai sepanjang berada di sana lebih-lebih lagi di tepian Sungai Swan. Disamping itu saya berasa
amat beruntung dan teruja dapat bersama-sama pengedar-pengedar jutawan dan kilowan emas Public Gold yang hebat lagi
berpengalaman. Kami berkongsi pengalaman berniaga emas dan idea pemasaran serta ilmu-ilmu tentang emas dan perak
sepanjang pertemuan di Perth, sambil minum kopi, makan ais krim dan kebab halal. Semua peserta bergembira selama 5 hari
kami bersama. Terima kasih Public Gold kerana menaja seminar ini dan kita pasti bersama lagi dalam leadership akan datang.

Percutian ke Perth? Fuh! Memang tak cukup nak diceritakan dan diluahkan disini. Kerana percutian tersebut,
saya dikelilingi oleh orang yang hebat, seperti dealer Public Gold yang hebat, staff Public Gold yang hebat
dan juga syarikat Public Gold yang hebat.
Perjalanan pergi dan balik ke Perth, walaupun mengambil masa yang lama, tetapi dirasakan amat sekejap,
disebabkan saya boleh mengeratkan tali silaturahim bersama keluarga Public Gold yang mengikuti percutian
tersebut.
Semasa di Perth, saya memperolehi satu pengalaman baru, bila dapat menyaksikan sendiri bagaimana proses
pembentukan emas dari bentuk cecair ke bentuk pepejal di bangunan bersejarah ‘Perth Mint’.
Kesimpulannya, anda boleh menyertai dan mengalami sendiri seperti apa yang saya dapat, bukan sahaja dapat melancong ke
negara lain, anda juga boleh dapat berkenalan dengan ramai kenalan baru yang sangat membantu dan saling bantu membantu
antara satu sama lain. Jadi, mari sertai kami di Public Gold ya!

Tidak pernah terlintas di fikiran saya ingin menjejak kaki di Perth, Australia. Pada 31 Mac - 4 April 2012
semuanya menjadi kenyataan apabila berpeluang menjejakkan kaki di Perth bagi mengikuti program
Leadership Seminar Public Gold dan menjadi sebuah memori yang cukup indah dalam hidup saya. Jutaan
terima kasih kepada Public Gold kerana merealisasikan impian yang tidak pernah saya mimpikan. Tanpa
Public Gold , mustahil bagi saya menjejakkan kaki di negara orang “putih”. Sebuah bandar peraginan yang
cukup indah dan tenang. Banyak kenangan yang tidak mungkin saya lupakan.
Antara kenangan yang tidak mungkin saya lupakan adalah ‘layanan istimewa’ yang diberi oleh pihak Public Gold.
Melihat sendiri kilang memproses emas yang tersohor di dunia iaitu Perth Minth. Semasa di kilang tersebut saya
dikelilingi bertan-tan emas disamping melihat proses melebur emas.
Melihat, menyentuh dan memberi makan haiwan kebanggan negara Australia iaitu Kanggaro.
Tidak terlintas dihati ini untuk bergelar seorang usahawan emas berjaya tetapi semuanya berlaku tanpa disedari. Bermula
sebagai seorang penyimpan emas berakhir dengan seorang usahawan emas berjaya dengan menggunakan platform yang
disediakan oleh Public Gold.
Terima kasih kepada Public Gold, dealer rangkaian EmasKini.com, sahabat seperjuangan dan semua yang menyokong saya
selama ini. Akhir sekali, anda boleh capai lebih dari saya jika fokus bersama Public Gold.

Tetapkan matlamat dan berusaha menggapainya untuk berjaya. Itulah yang saya lakukan dan usaha ini
dibalas oleh Public Gold apabila saya dipilih untuk melancong secara percuma ke Perth, Australia. Bukan
setakat melancong secara percuma tapi juga diberi peluang keemasan untuk melawat lombong emas
aktif tertua dunia di sana. Saya dan ahli rombongan dibawa melawat kilang Royal Mint, menyaksikan
sendiri demo bagaimana jongkong emas dibuat. Pelbagai produk/jongkong emas dari seluruh dunia turut
dipamerkan. Sangat menarik! Sempat juga saya membeli keychain jongkong emas dan sedikit cenderamata di
sana sebagai tanda ingatan. Dah namanya melancong, kami turut dibawa melawat pelbagai tempat termasuklah
makan angin di Pinnacle, mencuci mata sambil membeli cenderamata di Fremantle Market, mengenali pelbagai haiwan liar
Australia di Caversham Wildlife Park, juga ke terusan buatan manusia terpanjang dan terbesar, Satu pengalaman yang tidak
dapat dilupakan. Terima kasih Public Gold kerana memberi saya peluang ini. Bersama-sama kita tetapkan matlamat & tingkatkan
jualan untuk diri dan kumpulan dan juga untuk merebut peluang/ganjaran sebegini di masa-masa akan datang.

Alhamdulillah..setelah hampir 2 tahun bersama Public Gold membuka ruang perniagaan utk saya dan
keluarga. Dalam masa 3 bulan sahaja, saya berjaya mencapai target untuk menjadi Master Dealer Public
Gold.. Bersama Public Gold menerima pelbagai insentif termasuklah Leadership Seminar to Perth Austaralia
pada April 2012 kepada semua Master Dealer Public Gold. Selain dapat berjumpa dan mengeratkan

Bismillahirahmanirahim.... Alhamdulillah saya amat bersyukur dan berterima kasih kepada Public Gold
kerana saya tidak menyangka dalam ramai2 MASTER DEALER,saya telah terpilih untuk Batch Pertama ke
Perth Australia pada 31 Mac 2012 dengan menaiki pesawat Malaysia Airlines seawal 7.30 pagi. Semua
Master Dealer dan Pengurusan Public Gold telah berkumpul di KLIA dengan Jaket Public Gold dan sempat
bergambar.Pengalaman makan angin santai habis bersama Public Gold di Perth tidak mungkin dapat saya
lupakan setelah setahun berusaha keras memastikan Sasaran Personal Sales tercapai.
Lebih 5 jam berada di dalam pesawat,akhirnya sampai di Perth Airport dan semua MD sibuk beli Kad Sim Hotlink
Australia nak elak kena caj roaming yang tinggi sebelum menuju ke Seasons Hotel. Saya sebilik dengan MD Hasfarizam
(Geng916). Makan malam di Perth memang awal pukul 6 ptg di Restoran Malaysia masakan Malaysia..memang sedap sebab
dah lapar.. Aktiviti bebas sebelah malam.
Perjalanan bermula selepas sarapan, menuju Kilang “MONDO Nougat, bermulalah kebocoran wang dengan berbekalkan
AUD500. Selepas tu ke Kilang Coklat dan destinasi seterusnya ke “Caversham Wildlife Park” dapat melihat secara dekat seperti
Kangaroos , Koalas , Wombats.. Kemudian belayar menaiki ferri dengan melihat ikan lumba-lumba yang mengekori ferri.
Kemudian, kami menuju ke Lobster Shack untuk melihat bagaimana cara pemprosesan Lobster dan kami dihidangkan separuh
Lobster dengan 5 ekor udang dengan harga AUD55. Pengalaman seterusnya menaiki Bus Truck sejauh 300km (5 jam) ke
Pinnacles di mana kawasan Gurun Kering berbatu besar di mana beribu tahun dulu adalah kawasan laut. Inilah kali pertama
berada di kawasan Gurun tanah kering dengan cuaca yang panas terik. Di sinilah semua MD bergambil sebagai kenangan
dan ada juga yang membuat sessi rakaman video bertujuan untuk BAKOR dealer-dealer bila balik ke Malaysia nanti.. MD PG
memang kuat bakor sejak ke Perth masing-masing dah pandai BAKOR.
Selepas solat di kawasan rumput lapang, kami ke Padang Pasir Putih yang cerun di mana Bus Truck kami membuat aksi menuruni
bukit yang curam lebih 120 darjah, memang seronok masa ini sebab dapat melihat wajah ceria dan ada yang menjerit-jerit.
Lepas tu meluncur menuruni pasir menggunakan Papan Luncur.
Pengalaman seterusnya berada di Perth Mint dengan melihat secara langsung bagaimana Emas dilebur sehingga menjadi
ketulan emas. Di sini dapat bawa balik kenangan yang amat bermakna iaitu 1oz Silver Coin Perth Mint dengan ukiran text
sendiri “Memories of the Perth Mint Australia Public Gold - www.asmawee2u.com”
4 hari berada di Perth masa memang cepat berlalu dan rasa tak puas dan harap ada peluang lagi untuk pergi kali ke 2..tapi
kami ada sasaran seterusnya iaitu ke Cape Town Africa pada Nov 2012 nanti... JOM MELIHAT LOMBONG EMAS TERBESAR

Transformasi Minda, Strategi Kaya dan
Berjaya Dengan Emas & Perak.
Assalamualaikum dan Salam Sejahtera,
Terima kasih dan salam perkenalan saya ucapkan kepada
semua yang sudi meluangkan masa membaca ruangan ini,

Alhamdulillah, pada bulan Jun 2012 ini telah genap setahun

jelas, iaitu semata-mata agar saya dapat menyampaikan
manfaat, ilmu dan cara-cara terbaik untuk meraih pendapatan,
keuntungan dan kedudukan kewangan yang lebih baik
melalui pelaburan Emas dan Perak yang disediakan oleh
penyedia platform pelaburan Emas dan Perak yang terbaik di
Malaysia, iaitu Public Gold.
Ramai yang bertanya kepada saya, apakah rahsia dan tips

Pada 2009 celik emas saya bermula hanya dengan pembacaan di blog Jutawan Emas, En.Syukor Hashim. Saya terus mengambil
TINDAKAN dengan mendaftar sebagai pengedar sah Public Gold dengan pembelian stok emas RM30000++. Saya pun bercerita
tentang emas dengan ramai orang, keistimewaan menyimpan emas dan kenapa saya memilih Public Gold sebagai platform TERBAIK.

HISTORY OF GOLD
A child finds a shiny rock in a creek, thousands of years ago, and the human
race is introduced to gold for the first time.
Gold was first discovered as shining, yellow nuggets. “Gold is where you find
it,” so the saying goes, and gold was first discovered in its natural state, in
streams all over the world. No doubt it was the first metal known to early
hominids.
Gold became a part of every human culture. Its brilliance, natural beauty, and
luster, and its great malleability and resistance to tarnish made it enjoyable
to work and play with.
Because gold is dispersed widely throughout the geologic world, its discovery
occurred to many different groups in many different locales. And nearly
everyone who found it was impressed with it, and so was the developing
culture in which they lived.
Gold was the first metal widely known to our species. When thinking about the historical progress of technology, we consider
the development of iron and copper-working as the greatest contributions to our species’ economic and cultural progress - but
gold came first.
Gold is the easiest of the metals to work. It occurs in a virtually pure and workable state, whereas most other metals tend to be
found in ore-bodies that pose some difficulty in smelting. Gold’s early uses were no doubt ornamental, and its brilliance and
permanence (it neither corrodes nor tarnishes) linked it to deities and royalty in early civilizations.
Gold has always been powerful stuff. The earliest history of human interaction with gold is long lost to us, but its association
with the gods, with immortality, and with wealth itself are common to many cultures throughout the world.
Early civilizations equated gold with gods and rulers, and gold was sought in their name and dedicated to their glorification.
Humans almost intuitively place a high value on gold, equating it with power, beauty, and the cultural elite. And since gold
is widely distributed all over the globe, we find this same thinking about gold throughout ancient and modern civilizations
everywhere.
Gold, beauty, and power have always gone together. Gold in ancient times was made into shrines and idols (“the Golden Calf”),
plates, cups, vases and vessels of all kinds, and of course, jewelry for personal adornment.
GOLD AS MONEY
Gold, measured out, became money. Gold’s beauty, scarcity, unique density (no other metal outside the platinum group is as
heavy), and the ease by which it could be melted, formed, and measured made it a natural trading medium. Gold gave rise to
the concept of money itself: portable, private, and permanent. Gold (and silver) in standardized coins came to replace barter
arrangements, and made trade in the Classic period much easier.
Gold was money in ancient Greece. The Greeks mined for gold throughout the Mediterranean and Middle East regions by 550
B.C., and both Plato and Aristotle wrote about gold and had theories about its origins. Gold was associated with water (logical,
since most of it was found in streams), and it was supposed that gold was a particularly dense combination of water and sunlight.
Their science may have been primitive, but the Greeks learned much about the practicalities of gold mining. By the time of the
death of Alexander of Macedon (323 B.C.), the Greeks had mined gold from the Pillars of Hercules (Gibraltar) all the way eastward
to Asia Minor and Egypt, and we find traces of their placer mines today. Some of the mines were owned by the state, some were
worked privately with a royalty paid to the state. Also, nomads such as the Scythians and Cimmerians worked placer mines all
over the region. The surviving Greek gold coinage and Scythian jewelry both show superb artistry. The Roman Empire furthered the quest for gold. The Romans mined gold extensively throughout their empire, and advanced
the science of gold-mining considerably. They diverted streams of water to mine hydraulically, and built sluices and the first
‘long toms.’ They mined underground, also, and introduced water-wheels and the ‘roasting’ of gold-bearing ores to separate the
gold from rock. They were able to more efficiently exploit old mine-sites, and of course their chief laborers were prisoners of
war, slaves, and convicts.
A monetary standard made the world economy possible. The concept of money, (i.e., gold and silver in standard weight and
fineness coins) allowed the World’s economies to expand and prosper. During the Classic period of Greek and Roman rule in the
western world, gold and silver both flowed to India for spices, and to China for silk. At the height of the Empire (A.D. 98-160),
Roman gold and silver coins reigned from Britain to North Africa and Egypt. Money had been invented. Its name was gold.

The “Gold of Troy” treasure hoard, excavated in Turkey and dating to the era 2450 -2600 B.C., show the range of gold-work from
delicate jewelry to a gold gravy boat weighing a full troy pound. This was a time when gold was highly valued, but had not yet
become money itself. Rather, it was owned by the powerful and well-connected, or made into objects of worship, or used to
decorate sacred locations.
Gold has always had value to humans, even before it was money. This is demonstrated by the extraordinary efforts made to
obtain it. Prospecting for gold was a worldwide effort going back thousands of years, even before the first money in the form of
gold coins appeared about 700 B.C.
In the quest for gold by the Phoenicians, Egyptians, Indians, Hittites, Chinese, and others, prisoners of war were sent to work
the mines, as were slaves and criminals. And this happened during a time when gold had no value as ‘money,’ but was just
considered a desirable commodity in and of itself.
The ‘value’ of gold was accepted all over the world. Today, as in ancient times, the intrinsic appeal of gold itself has that universal
appeal to humans. But how did gold come to be a commodity, a measurable unit of value?

Valuation Technique of Gold Article

FIRE ASSAY
Assaying is the term applied to the art of the determining
the quantity of metal contained in an ore, in alloys, or in
metallurgical products by the dry or “fire” method.
The art of determining is referred to the method of testing
applicable for specific metal alloy.
CUPELLATION METHOD
Fire Assay for determination of gold content (fineness) in pure
gold and gold alloy is known as Cupellation Method.
The method was employed since 15th century in the western
countries and standardized by ISO and ASTM in 1980’s.
While in Malaysia the standard was established in 1994 and
republished again as MS ISO 11426:2006. The determination
of gold in gold jewelry alloys is known as CUPPELLATION
METHOD. The method specifies the determination of standard
on fineness for gold and articles of gold alloy, which include
bullions gold beads and coins. The unit is measured in part per
thousand (‰).
Therefore, Cupellation Method provides better accuracy,
certainty and traceability.
But in order to perform the determination with high certainty
for the tested gold article, a laboratory should complied with
the appropriate Method of Sampling established by Malaysia
Standard SIRIM as coded MS 1366:1994 Methods of Sampling
for precious metals. The method specifies the procedure for
obtaining samples for the determination of standard on
fineness in precious metal. Whereby a representative sample
should be taken accordingly in order to have better accuracy,
certainty as well as represent result for the articles(s) as a total.
According to the sampling procedure, it is advisable to use
a “simple” and “affordable” technique to “estimate” the gold
content that would be able to group them in karat jewelry
such as 24K(99.9%), 23K(95.0%), 22K(91.6%), 21K(87.5%),
20K(83.5%), 18K(75.0%), 14K(58.5%) and 9K(37.5%). The
valuation of the gold content shall provide information for an
appropriate quantity of silver and lead use for each of the test
sample in the Cupellation Method.
What are the techniques recommended?
ACID TEST
In Malaysia, the jewelry industry has the special technique
called “Acid Test”. In Europe country called Touch Stone
Method.

scratch on the blackstone. The known Karat
value are 24K(99.9%),
23K(95.0%), 22K(91.6%),
21K(87.5%), 20K(83.5%),
18K(75.0%), 14K(58.5%)
and 9K(37.5%). The technique required special understanding
and experienced personnel to conclude the outcome of
the chemical reaction in several minutes. Sometimes the
judgment will fade as the personal senses deteriorate. The
“Acid Test” technique becomes unfavorable because it is very
hard to develop such skills.
Therefore the technique is NOT a standardized method of
testing as to compare to the Cupellation Method.
Then in 2004 or earlier if I recall it, exist one and only mechanical
technique known as “a wonders” by some, which will and has
been replacing the “Acid Test” technique.
BRAVOOO..... Gone with the black-stone (some said “batu
asah”) and the “stinky” acid but NOT the gold key.
Precious Facts
“estimate” the quality of gold article. It is a state of art with the combination of a weighing scale, a beaker of water and super
programme. The instrument is better than the “Acid Test” technique. No acid required! The limitation is almost similar to Acid
Test.
The technique is a NOT standardized method of testing as compared to the Cupellation Method.
DENSITY METER TESTING
There are numberous feedbacks from the user about the evaluation using these techniques. There are some pure gold (999.9)
bullions or jewelry marked 999 evaluate as 23K or 95% of gold content.
Firstly, we must ensure that the instrument is well maintained, calibrated and tested with known gold quality. Through my
experience as a user, there is no problem of the said articles evaluated using the Density Test.
My worry is, does the user use the density meter and perform as suggested by the manufacturer?
But sometimes the above mentioned situation might occur for the “cold casting” bullion because of the additional volume
(size). An additional volume would decrease the density as well as the karat value.
Also, a different ratio composition of gold, silver and copper would affect the density as well as grouping in between the gold
group karat.
CONCLUSION
The “Acid Test” and “Density Meter Test” is NOT a standard method of testing to determine the actual gold content in gold
articles. Even though is not, but it is still justifiable to determine the group of gold articles for those whom do not have the
facilities to operate The Cupellation method. These two techniques are suitable for users like goldsmith shop, pawnshop and
trader or even a refiner of gold scrape.
As for laboratory, we need to use all instruments and techniques to complement the finding and our judgments as total
representative to the subject tested.
To conclude these articles, one must justify the purpose of evaluation needed.
DENSITY METER TESTING
They named it “DENSITY METER”. The instrument measures the
density of the gold alloy (object or jewelry) from the weight
measured, and then divided by the volume of the size using
water as a medium. The unit is gram in 1cm cubic (gm/cm3).
The density then simulates the range of various unit as Karat,
Percentage of gold as well as Density. The density meter
technique also has limitations which the manufacturer will
disclose in the manual to avoid misleading the outcome.
