AWARDS: EXCELLENCE GUIRLANDE D’HONNEUR
The award “Excellence Guirlande d’Honneur”, designed by Silvio Gazzaniga, sculptor of the FIFA World
Cup, established in 1983, reproduces the laurel wreath given to the winners of the first Olympic Games, and is
awarded every year to personalities of Sport, TV, Cinema and Journalism who “played a significant role in
the promotion of sports images as well as the cultural and ethical values of sports”.

HALL OF FAME: “Aims to improve heritage, history and values of sport, culture, cinema
and communication and to enhance the most representative personalities”.
In the prestigious list there are the personages awarded with the Guirlande d’Honneur assigned
by FICTS every year with the approval of all the Member Countries.
All the FICTS Hall of Famers are “sport and culture ambassadors” in the world.
