RM Plant Services provides a wide range of non-operated
compact plant and equipment up to nine tonne suitable for
any job from excavators and dumpers, material handlers,
bowsers, rollers and compressors to site works.
We are continually investing in our hire fleet to ensure we are
constantly able to deliver reliable equipment enabling you to get
the job done.
Over 20 years our friendly team at RM Plant Services have built
our reputation across the West Midlands by offering reliable
customer service and expert industry knowledge.

Safety is a priority at RM Plant Services, this is why we ensure
that every piece of equipment hired from us has been fully and
regularly serviced by our expert on site engineers to the highest
industry standards.
Our safety approach includes;

Demonstration – All of our staff are always
happy to demonstrate the controls and features
of the equipment you’re hiring from us whenever
required.

Safety Instructions – At RM Plant Services
we make sure that full safety instructions are
supplied with each hired piece of equipment.

Protective Equipment – Advice regarding safety
clothing will be given with all hired equipment,
protective gear can also be purchased from us.

Safety Advice – At RM Plant Services our team
members can provide practical advice on how to
use your hire equipment safely.
All equipment hired can be dangerous if not utilised correctly
therefore as the hirer it is your responsibility to ensure that
all of your operatives utilising hired in equipment are fully
competent to do so.

EXCAVATORS
Our fleet of hard working excavators are
suitable for sites and projects of all sizes
whether large or small. Our larger excavators
have some of the best bucket force and
digging depths available delivering improved
productivity.
Spacious cabs offer greater comfort, panoramic
visibility and ergonomically designed joysticks
combined with the latest hydraulics which control
all the machine’s movements smoothly and
precisely with no loss on performance.

DUMPERS
RM Plant Services offer a wide range of articulated
hi-lift and swivel tip dumpers which all offer great
stability at full load thanks to uniform weight
distribution.
Specifically designed to take all the back-breaking
work out of transporting soil, rubbish and materials
across rough terrain, heavy duty chassis and
gearboxes ensure our dumpers stand up to the
harshest of on site conditions.
All dumpers are fitted with ROPs,
seatbelts and beacons.

Our range of twin drum ride on rollers
offer powerful compaction suitable for
an extensive range of substrates and a
variety of surfaces.
All rollers are fitted with ROPs, seatbelts
and beacons.

MATERIAL HANDLING
We have a range of rough terrain forklifts and
telehandlers offering superb traction and high
performance levels.
Designed for carrying and lifting a variety of heavy
loads in any site enviroment . The minimum hire period
is one week.
Attachments available include:
Block Grabs - designed for lifting brick, kerb and block
paving packs, mounted on either telehandlers or rough
terrain forklifts with the addition of a fork sleeves.
Safety nets can also be provided.
Tipping Skips – designed to allow safe and speedy
removal of waste and rubbish.

HIRE INSURANCE
At RM Plant Services we understand that
sometimes hired-in equipment can get
damaged, lost or stolen on site which is
why we make sure our customers have
suitable insurance provisions before hiring
equipment from us.
If you have your own hired-in plant insurance
you must provide us with a copy of your latest
policy so that we can add it to your account.
Alternatively, RM Plant Services are proud
to be a member of the HAE (Hire Association
Europe) which means that we are able to
offer all our customers HireGuard Insurance
cover to protect equipment when on your
sites.

PAYMENT OPTIONS
It is easy to pay at RM Plant Services with our choice of
payment options.
• Open a RM Plant Services credit account
Our credit account lets you spend up to an agreed limit and
settle your bills monthly.
To open a credit account with RM Plant Services simply
request an account application form by phone or by emailing
our team on [email protected]. Complete the
form and send it back to us either by email to or by post to:

When we receive your application form we aim to
set up your account within 48 hours.*
*all applications will be subject to a credit check and status

RM Plant Services accepts credit or debit cards as payment.
When using a credit or debit card a deposit will be required
before any items are despatched. You will also need to present
two forms of identification, a photographic identity and one
other with a current mailing address when hiring equipment
from RM Plant Services.

FAQs…
When will my equipment
be delivered?
Here at RM Plant Services, wherever possible, we
aim to secure you a next day delivery on all orders
received before 3pm the day prior.
However, we recommend, where possible, all of
our customers place orders as far in advance as
possible to ensure we can meet your delivery
requirements.

How do I off-hire my equipment?
As simple as placing an order - when you have
finished with a piece of equipment simply give us
a call to confirm the off-hire and we will arrange a
collection with you.
We aim to collect as soon as possible but when we
are busy this can take up to 48 hours so please
bear with us. However, please be assured you are
not being charged during this time.
What can I do if my equipment
breaks down on site?
At RM Plant Services we like to ‘Do It Right’ and
have invested heavily to ensure our fleet is bang
up-to-date so that we can reduce the likelihood of
breakdowns happening wherever possible.
However, certain things are still out of our control
but we aim to act swiftly and wherever possible
respond to breakdowns the same day, whether that
is organising a replacement piece of equipment or
sending out one of our experienced engineers to fix
the problem.
What can you do if my
equipment is lost or
stolen on site?
Annoyingly equipment can on occasion get lost or
stolen from site and we are happy to work with our
customers to resolve these situations.
We do not aim to profit from what can be a
frustrating situation and we simply operate a
replacement cost recovery policy.
What do I do if my equipment
has been damaged on site?
Visible damage to equipment should be identified
on the point of collection. However when damage
is not obvious, or there was nobody on site when
the equipment was collected we will aim to notify
you within 48 hours and send you photos of any
damages incurred.
You are invited to inspect any damaged equipment
at any point.
As with losses we do not look to profit from damage
and aim simply to get the equipment back up and
running as swiftly as possible.
How can we resolve an
invoice query?
Occasionally invoice queries do happen and can
become a sore point if not dealt with quickly and
efficiently.
Once raised with our accounts team we aim to
resolve all issues within 3 days by speaking to the
original person you dealt with and if necessary the
senior management team - quickly and efficiently
so we can get on with the important job of looking
after your needs…
