Winslow, Museum Director Special Events Highlights Frog Frenzy • See the skeleton of the world’s largest frog • Learn about the stages of metamorphosis • Take part in a virtual frog dissection • Create a chorus of frog calls Is the world’s largest frog truly the size of a human infant? Do frogs drink? And can a frog REALLY kill a person? Find out answers to these questions and more! FROGS! A Chorus of Colors Frogs live almost everywhere – from tropical forests to frozen tundra and scorching deserts. See stunning creatures complete with their noisy croaks, yaps, chirps, whoops, snores and whistles – all housed in detailed habitats with rock ledges, live plants and waterfalls! • Test your frog knowledge on subjects from basic to bizarre! February 1 • 11 am – 2 pm Leap into the world of Anurans – frogs! – with fun activities, games and prizes! Ages 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Tickets: $3 for children (Museum admission required) Mini Tours Enjoy 30-minute docent-led tours on Thursday evenings at 7 pm. FREE with Museum admission (no tours 3/20 or 3/27) Family Discovery Days Frog Feedings Watch as our keeper feeds the frogs on selected Saturdays at 9:30 am, plus Monday, Wednesday & Friday during Spring Break. For dates, visit mcfta.org/frogs. Advance purchase is required as space is extremely limited. Tickets: $4 (Museum admission required) Animals of the Rainforest February 22 • 2 pm An enthralling program focusing on the world’s rainforests. Includes hands-on interaction opportunity with the animals. Ages 4 and up. Tickets: $8 | $5 ABDM members Borneo Eared Frog Scout Days March 20 & 27 • 4 – 8 pm Experience the fun of FROGS as a troop or family!
