The Noor Shades are created with extraordinary, semi-luminous material with the
appearance of high quality leather. Utilizing the latest green technology, it is the first true
environmental alternative to vinyl and polyurethane. This amazing material is made with
51% Silicone, 49% corn-based Polyester with no PVC or solvents. This new material answers the call for commercial and healthcare applications that
require infection control, cleanability, and performance. Even permanent marker can be
wiped easily with a damp towel! The hand-tucked, square or round shades are featured
in four standard colors, with additional colors available.
Material:
Shade: 51% silicone and 49% Polyester; painted steel frame. Optional Top (TPL) and
Bottom Lens (BTL).
Key features of the Noor material: UV-Resistant, anti-bacterial, anti-microbial
and anti-fungal, GREENGUARD Children & Schools, Indoor Air Quality Certified® CA
Section 01350 compliant, eligible for CHPS Low-Emitting Material Credits, flame
resistance to meet CA Bulletin 117 Sec. E, UFAC Class 1; NFPA 260 CLASS 1, water-based
cleaning agents or foam and solvents; bleach cleanable (4:1)
Suspension:
Single stem. Contact factory for ceiling surface mount. Refer to Kore Ambient Quadrant
Spec Sheet 50 for specification details.
Kore/Gem:
Kore LED Ambient Quadrant. Refer to Kore Ambient Spec Sheet 50 for
more detail. Kore LED pendant specified separately.
Shade:
24” Noor Drum (NRD22), 30” Noor Drum (NRD30), 24” Noor Square (NRS22), or 30”
Noor Square (NRS30). Contact factory for custom size, shape or color.
Shade Finish:
Pearl (PL) (shown at left), Slate (SL) (shown on p. 2), French Roast (FR) (shown on left)
or Swiss Coffee (SC).
Note: Natural materials are subject to inconsistency in color/pattern, texture, shape and may
vary from dye lots. They may also change in appearance over time. Many materials
appear differently when illuminated. It is recommended to view all samples illuminated prior
to making final selection. Please contact your representative for a color sample.
