our president
will get underway at 9 a.m. with “How to
Get More Sales from Your Small Business
Marketing.” It will discuss identifying the right
audience for your marketing efforts, finding
multiple channels for reaching that audience,
creating a process for sorting through leads,
making sure potential and existing customers
have a good experience and other techniques
for getting results fast from one’s marketing
plan.
This session will be 45-minutes. While
marketing is, in fact, a huge field of academic
and practical study for business leaders, we at
the Chamber have found our members are busy
folks. Many are actively running businesses and
simply don’t have the time to go back to school
and brush up on their management skills.
This seminar will give attendees a sense of
the basics so they can begin to think about a
marketing strategy that makes sense for their
business. It will be time well spent.
And within any marketing plan, one of the
components that can seem most vexing is
how to leverage an online presence through a
website.
Our second seminar, therefore, is dedicated
to “Five Ways To Make Your Small Business
Website More Effective.”
Again the Sutherland Weston team will be
leading the workshop. They’ll be talking about
five ways one can use their website more
effectively:
• How to rank higher in search engines
• Using data to show you the way
• Content marketing to get more traffic
• How to answer questions before they’re
asked
• Getting more leads from your website
