Performance
Optimize mulching performance with Fecon’s STO (Speed Torque Optimization) variable speed motor option for hydraulic powered Bull
Hogs. Fecon’s STO feature automatically adjusts the Bull Hog’s motor displacement to maximize rotor speed and torque to changing
material loads. Under lighter material loads, STO provides higher rpm, more bites per second, and finer material sizing. With heavier
material loads STO delivers more rotor torque and staying power. This keeps the Bull Hog rotor turning where other heads would stall. STO is field tested and proven to provide substantial productivity!

Bull Hog mulchers are designed so mulching can be accomplished in almost any terrain by using a wide array of carriers from 50600HP. Models of varying widths are available for Compact Track Loaders, Skid Steers, 7-45 ton Excavators, PTO Tractors, Tracked
Feller Bunchers and Wheeled or Tracked Forestry Prime Movers. With two rotor systems and a variety of tool options, any Bull Hog
can be configured for regional conditions or a specific jobsite. Bolt-on excavator mounts and universal skid steer mounts make it
simple to set Bull Hogs up to run on different machines.

Maximize uptime and productivity across different jobsite conditions
with Fecon’s FGT and HDT Rotor systems. FGT and HDT rotors are
available in all Bull Hog models and use the same proven bolt-on
stub shafts and bearing systems for long lasting durability. In
addition, a variety of tool options are available to tailor both
systems for maximum results in changing conditions.

The FGT smooth drum rotor system features a smooth drum surface, spiral tool pattern, and innovative tool shape for
smooth efficient cutting. In addition to outstanding performance, the FGT rotor system is built to last in the severe
application of mulching. Forged tools and tool holders, a V-Back tool fastening system, heavy-wall drum material, and
an efficient structural design have been proven in tough applications for thousands of hours. Single-bolt tool fastening
makes for easy servicing from the rear of the tool holder, and the low profile tool height and smooth rotor surface are
ideal when mulching in deep snow or into the soil. With 4 tool choices for the FGT rotor system, operators can easily
configure their machine for changing requirements, or run a combination of tools for maximum productivity and durability.
The HDT paddle style rotor system features a cylindrical weldment comprised of heavy steel plate with a central
steel drum. The innovative design positions the HDT tools in a staggered pattern across the horizontal axis for smooth
efficient cutting. On larger models (BH200, BH300, BH350) there tools are also positioned at two different heights,
providing even greater cutting efficiency. A single bolt and nut holds each tool in place for secure long-lasting
positioning. Fecon mulchers have been equipped with paddle style rotors for over 15 years and are used on tractors up
to 600HP. HDT rotors can be quickly configured for job conditions by choosing to run any one of the HDT tool options, or a
combination to optimize results.

Bull Hog Skid Steer Bull Hog Excavator
Fecon’s skidsteer Bull Hog mulchers are ideal for high flow skidsteers. They clear brush, trees and stumps down to
ground level. Quickly mulch standing trees 4-6” in diameter (depending on horsepower) and intermittently process
6-8” trees. The Bull Hog for skidsteers comes standard with double carbide teeth with either the HDT or FGT rotor
system, which increases productivity by adding optimal knife tools to the skid steer Bull Hog. Aggressive counter
cutting rake tines insure excellent material sizing and performance. Different push bar options are available
including a hydraulic tilting feature that provides the best in tree and material handling.

with other track or wheeled carriers. Fecon’s Severe Duty line is by far the strongest built mulching attachment in the
industry. Heavy Duty models offer excellent durability and lower weight when compared with the Severe Duty models.
CEM (Compact Equipment Mulchers) models offer the ideal balance of weight and durability, they deliver impressive
performance on excavators with less power and lifting capacity. For maximum production many Bull Hog excavator

Bull Hog Hydraulic Bull Hog
Fecon’s Hydraulic driven Bull Hogs are configured to provide the best combination of cutting tools, width, weight,
durability, and driveline options for operation on open-loop, load sense, or closed loop hydraulic systems up to 600hp!
Standard pin-on and quick-attach mounts are available for track or rubber tired prime movers. Custom mounts can be
easily provided upon request. A durable push bar aids in directing trees and brush and a hydraulic trap door (optional on
some models) helps contain material for finer sizing when desired. To get the most out of your investment, capitalize on
four tool options that can be changed at any time to optimize results.
PTO
Fecon offers a full line of PTO Bull Hog mulchers for your tractor. PTO driven mulchers will mount to agriculture tractors
from 80-440HP. Your tractor should include an enclosed cab with guarding for operators safety, a creeper gear or
hydrostatic transmission, and protection of the vital components of the tractor. Fecon PTO Bull Hog attachments come set
up for a 3-point hitch; have a hydraulic top link, a trap door for sizing material, and a PTO shaft. A patented synchronized
pivoting gear box system is also included on higher horsepower models. Whether operating on a wheeled tractor for
faster travel speeds, versatility, and the ability to cross roads, or on track machines for lower ground pressure and better
handling on steeper terrain, a PTO Bull Hog delivers results.

Bull Hog DCR Rotor
The Depth Control Rotor system (DCR) brings a new level of performance and value to mulching, controlling the
depth of bite and efficiently directing material flow so that energy is reserved for production. DCR cuts faster,
delivering better fuel economy and more uniform particle size. The DCR system is an evolution that builds on
Fecon’s reversible Samurai Knife Tool
Depth control rings of the DCR system work in harmony with the
Samurai Knife to enable more cutting with less HP. The shape of the
Samurai knife edge efficiently slices as it chips, providing greater
forgiveness on rock than straight-edged knife tools or saw teeth. Depth control rings lend further impact protection
tothe tool body, and reduce shock loading to the
mechanical or hydraulic drive line. DCR will be
available in skid steer model mulching attachments
and most PTO and hydraulic prime mover models in 2014.
