have had them in their hands, played them on stage and written countless songs
on them. However today’s music, even looking at heav y metal alone, has been
broadened and demands guitars with as much variety as the music itself. Keeping that
in mind, Ibanez introduces these brand new guitars, developed through day to day
communication with artists, which combine originally designed shapes with killer tone
and playability. The Ibanez X-series are designed for players aiming to have guitars on
the cutting edge. Together with the Xiphos, which has already been welcomed into the
scene, the three new blades, Halberd, Falchion and Glaive are unveiled, to help you

he Ibanez Xiphos was launched in 2007. Since
then, it has evolved to satisfy the guitarists
seeking an instrument with both a radical
appearance, and a sound that matches the look. The
Xiphos offers three models, the XPT700, XPT700X H,
and XP300FX, each w ith different specs to choose
from. XPT700 and XPT700X H apply neck-through-
body construction, which enhances playing comfort at
higher frets and increases sustain. XPT700X H also has
an extended 27 fret neck, taking the shredding abilities
to the max. XP300FX features the XPT’s DNA, yet at
an affordable price. The fixed bridge helps transmit
string vibration to the body directly and the reversed
headstock makes the guitar more distinctive.
