CANDY: Candy is a nine volume manga serie created by Kyoko Mizuki and Yumiko Igarashi. The heroine is Candice White
Ardlay. It was adapted into an animated television TV show and broadcasted between 1976 and 1979.
The story began at the end of the XIXth century, in the Indiana not far from Lake Michigan, in an orphanage ran by an old
lady, Miss Pony. Two abandoned baby girls were found in a basket at the door of the orphanage, a name was given to each of
them: Candy the blonde, and Annie the brunette. The two girls grew up together and became inseparable.
As the years went by, Annie grew up to be a shy and reserved girl while Candy became silly and exuberant. Annie is adopted by
the Brighton family but her adoptive parents did not want people to know their daughter came from an orphanage, so they cut
all relations between the two girls. There are over one hundred fifteen episodes, with the background of the Belle Epoque and
the First World War. The blonde heroine will never stop looking for answers from her childhood memories.

SEIYA & athena: Knights of the Zodiac is a group of young heroes inspired by the gods of the Greek mythology. Since the dawn of time, when the forces of evil have been awoken, the Knights (Saints) dressed in their
armors make their appearance to protect the Earth. They are called the Knights of Athena. During one of his
trips to Greece, Mitsumasa Kido gets acquainted with a dying young boy, Aiolos, who is the Golden Knight of the
Sagittarius. Ailos entrusts the golden armor to Mitsumasa Kido as well as the care of a baby called Saori. Aiolos
introduces this little girl as the reincarnation of the goddess Athena. He asks him to find and train young brave
boys to protect this child.

fabric, he confronts the criminals as well as the forces of evil. Peter Parker works as a photographer in the
newspaper Daily Bugle.

HULK: Incredible Hulk is one of Marvel Comic’s characters. Bruce Banner, a physician, created a new type of
bombs, the bomb G, based on gamma rays. During one of his attempts, Banner sees a teenager laying in his car
who had made a bet with his friends. Banner gave the order to his assistant Igor Starsky to stop everything.
Banner saves the young man. However Starsky (Drenkov), is a Russian spy who was sent to steal Banner’s secrets. He will drop the bomb; Dr. Banner won’t have enough time to shelter himself from the gamma rays. The
gamma rays will deeply affect his DNA but it won’t kill him. He will be kept in observation until nightfall he
begins to suffer and finally turns into a huge creature with green skin.

alexia & tamara: The sisters Sylia, Tam and Alexia Chamade run a coffeehouse during the day, the Cat’s
Eye. But during night time they change into thieves. In fact, they are trying to get back the artwork that belonged to their father, a German artist who disappeared. The three sisters believe that by gathering the entire
collection of their father’s artwork, they would be able to find him as well. Whenever they prepare a theft, the
three sisters always announce their arrival by sending a card signed Cat’s Eye on which they specify the date and
time of the theft, which they always perform with great class.

SAILOR MOON: Sailor Moon is the name of a young warrior created by Naoko Takeuchi in 1992.
The story resumes the adventures of Usagi Tsukino, a banal and awkward teenager who is in reality Sailor Moon, a heroine
with magical powers. Fighting the evil in the name of love and justice, she is joined by many allies, all under the protection of
one of the planets of the Solar System.
Sailor Moon became a worldwide successful serie and contributed to the renewal of the magical girl genre. In 1993, the book
won a prize in the shōjo manga Kodansha category while the Japanese anime cartoon obtained the Grand Prix in 1992. The
manga was published two years later at Glénat Edition, before being broadcasted again as a cartoon, entitled Pretty Guardian
Sailor Moon Crystal in July 2014.

ravished woman who must die in order to swap her identity, so that she may take control of her life again and

GOLDORAK: Goldorak is a manga written by Gō Nagai, it was adapted and broadcasted on television in Japan in
October 1975, in Europe it has been broadcasting since 1978. In 1945, the American atomic bomb was dropped
on Hiroshima a month before he was born, this event will strongly affect his family as well as his artwork. These
particularities will have an impact on Goldorak’s story. Heir to the throne of the Euphor planet, he escaped on the
spaceship Goldorak after the destruction of his civilisation by the hands of the Vega forces.
The hero’s personality is taciturn, introverted and melancholic, he dreams only of peace and love however he is an
implacable fighter. His alien nature gives him superhuman strength.

CAPTAIN HARLOCK: Harlock is a fictional character created in 1969 by the Japanese Leiji Matsumoto.
In Europe, he became famous since the 1980’s as Space Pirate Captain Harlock.
In 2964, Harlock is the son of the Great Captain Harlock, the legendary space pirate, side by side, they fight
the creatures of the god Wotan although he is just a child. He lives aboard the Death Shadow spaceship with his
friend Toshiro. As he grows older, he keeps fighting new enemies. When he is escaping the Earth, he gets hurt on
his eye and his face is scarred like his father’s.
