Brokamåla Gård
Just being in the forest, whether fishing or picking mushrooms, is an

Though we’re open all year, the best season for rainbow, pike and perch is

There are row boats for our lakes. Fishing rods can be rented. Restaurant

Equipment & tactics
There is something here for all types of fishing, ranging
from spin and fly to angling. For the last the bait is usually
worms, but there are other possibilities. Spinning is
perhaps the most common here and various spoons are
used. Fly-fishing is more demanding on both skill and
know-how – it is important to use the correct fly for the
season.
Regulations
The daily pirce includes three fish, though all fish under
40 cm are released.
Other activities
Forest walks, canoe or kayak paddling, riding, hunting,
clay-pigeons shooting and picking mushrooms.

We can offer three fully equipped self catering cabins, all
with WC/shower, parabolas, washing facilities,
refrigerator and freezer. The 75 sq.m. Gårdstugan has six
beds and an open fireplace. Both the Backstugan and
Sjöstugan measure 60 sq.m. with five beds. The
Gårdstugan and Backstugan are about 100 metres from
each other and are suitable for smaller groups. They are
about 200 metres from the lake. The Sjöstugan is located
by itself with a view over another lake.

Dragsö Fishing Camp
Dragsö Fishing Camp specialize in fishing trips and especially pike fishing
in the beautiful coastal waters of Blekinge in the south east corner of
Sweden. We offer exclusive fishing packages with cabin and boat in the
archipelago of Karlskrona. As our camping is branded with 4 stars we can
also offer you comforts like sauna, adventure golf and hottub bath. The
restaurant is open from the 1st of april until the 7th of september. Fishing
guides and other service is available at the camp.

Dragsö Fishing Camp is located on
the island Dragsö just west of the
town of Karlskrona. There is a bridge
connecting Dragsö with the mainland.
Distance to Karlskrona 2,5 km,
Malmö 210 km, Stockholm 490 km,
Göteborg 350 km.
Season
Pike fishing is an all year event. But the strike periods in the vicinity of
spooning in April and May are something else! There is somewhat slower
fishing during the hot months of summer but in September the pike starts
to strike for real again! Perch is also an all year fish but the best period for
perch is late summer, early fall. Sea trout fishing begins in February and
peaks in March-April. There are several rivers to choose from in the
region of Blekinge, amongst them the famous river Mörrumsån.

Salmon (24,8 kg).

Our boat fleet are made out of 6 smaller boats of the brand Reval 440
equipped with a 4hk fourstroke engine. A part from those boats we have
our most popular boat when it comes to all year around fishing, the Master
500 equipped with a 25hk fourstroke Yamaha outboard. We also offer
guides that have a long and recognized experience from pike fishing,
especially with jerkbait.

Equipment & tactics
Methods for catching pike are, jerkbait fishing, spinning,
casting and fly fishing. We only accept customers who
practice catch and release when pike fishing. Perch is
caught with livebait and casting. Salmon and Sea trout are
caught by trolling, fly fishing and spinning.

At Dragsö Fishing Camp we really care about the future
of the Baltic Sea and the wonderful and unique
archipelago that we are lucky to enjoy! As a direct result
of that we only allow C&R here at Dragso! All pike must
unconditionally be released back into to the water!
Other activities
With the close distance to the town of Karlskrona there
are many other activities to find such as shops, museums,
movies and restaurants. As our camping is branded with 4
stars we can also offer you comforts like sauna, adventure
golf and hottub bath (let us know before you want
this). The restaurant is open from the 1st of april until the
7th of september. They have full rights to serve liquer.

accommodation. 4 bed cabins >>> The four bed cabins
are build as antique sea cabins. They are located 25 meters
from the beach. The cabins has one room with kitchen,
refrigerator, a small freezer and cold water connected.

& showers 50 meters from the cabins. 4+2 Bed cabin
>>> Six beds in two bunk beds and one bed sofa. Two
rooms with kitchen and shower/WC. Microwave oven,
refrigerator, small freezer and all neccesary kitchen
accessories. Large porch outside with furniture and a view
over Karlskrona. Luxus cabins >>> Firstclass cabins,
two rooms with kitchen and shower and toilet. The
bedroom has two bunkbeds and there is a bedsofa in the
living room. The cabin also is equipped with a flat screen
TV, DVD, dishwasher, microwave oven, refrigrerator and
much more. The cabin has a large porch with furniture
and a veiw to south of Dragsö.

Eriksberg Vilt & Natur AB
In recent years Eriksberg, Scandinavia’s largest safari park, has become a
highly exclusive, unique experience and meeting place in the Blekinge
Province archipelago. The area comprises a first-class hotel, restaurants,

The pike record at Eriksberg is from 1994 and weighed in at 21.7 kg. For
carp the record is 15 kg from 2008, a fish that was released after

rent equipment. The restaurants serve everything from simpler fare to
ten-course gourmet menus.

Equipment & tactics
For pike – spin and cast from an anchored boat. For carp
from land – bottom fishing (legering) and float fishing.
For bait use corn and/or boilies. Crayfishing is only done
using Eriksberg’s own equipment and bait.
Accommodation
Eriksberg is Scandinavia’s largest safari park with
possibilities for guided safari tours in the area. There is a
relax section with sauna and outdoor Jacuzzi. Other
activities can be arranged as desired.

Garnanäs Fishing Camp
Welcome to the Garnanäs Fishing Camp in Scandinavia’s southernmost
archipelago. The water world among these islands and skerries is known
for its large pike, but as well for perch, cod, ocean trout and other fish.
You can live in our high standard cabins or flats only 200 metres from the
Baltic Sea. Fishing is done from our safe, secure boats powered by
4-stroke motors. In 2011 we built a pike ‘factory’ in the form of a
wetland to secure the growth of our pike stock.
Season
We are open all year, but February-May and September-December are the
best pike fishing seasons. Still the pike bite in the summer as well. Our
boats are always ready for fishing and in the autumn/winter season their
docking site is roofed.

Species & Records
At Garnanäs you can fish for pike, perch, ocean trout and cod. Our
archipelago is known for the large size of its pike with many weighing in
at 10 kg. The records were set in April, 2011, at 13.8 kg and in May, at
10.8.
Fishing Service
The Garnanäs Fishing Camp has 15 modern boats for hire: Eight 4.40 m
with 4 hp Tohatsu motors; five 4.80 m Hanö with 9.8 hp Tohatsu motors;
one 5.5 m with a 15 hp motor; and one 4.8 m with a steering pulpit and a
20 hp motor. All boats can be fitted with en electric motor. The boats are
fitted with anchor, life jacket, bailer, oars and sea charts with fishing sites
marked.

Equipment & tactics
At Garnanäs the usual fishing method is jerk bait, but
wobblers are also used. We fish mostly in shallow water
over weed beds and near reeds. Interest in fly-fishing for
pike has increased in the most recent years and is a very
effective method, especially when the water is cool.
Regulations
The Garnanäs Fishing Camp is a catch & release camp
and all pike must be released. Blekinge Province rules:
smallest 40 cm, largest 75 cm, max 3 fish/day.
Accommodation
We offer modern self-catering flats and cabins ranging
from 25 to 65 m2. All are fully equipped with stove, oven,
microwave oven, water cooker, coffee maker, cooking and
eating for 4-6 persons, TV and shower/WC. The flats also
have their own patio with outdoor furniture and grill. All
residences lie about 200 metres from the Baltic Sea. The
camp has its own dock and launching ramp.

Getnö Gård - Lake Åsnen Resort
Getnö Gård is a tourist and conference facility located on its own island
group in the middle of Lake Åsnen. The lake is part of the Mörrumsån
river system and the islands are surrounded by bird preserves, nature
preserves and included in a future national park called Western Åsnen.

The Getnö fishing season is year long. Spring fishing for pike begins in
April-May; from June through August summer fishing looks for pike,
pikeperch and perch; September through November offers the same menu;
while winter fishing in January, February and March focuses on pike and
perch.

Lake Åsnen in southern Småland
province between Växjö and
Karlshamn. The time to Småland
Airport in Växjö is 45 min by car, to
Alvesta train station 30 min and
Karlshamn 30 min, while it’s 2 hrs to
Helsingborg, 2.5 hrs to
Malmö/Copenhagen. 3 hrs to
Göteborg and 5.5 to Stockholm.

Pike, pikeperch and perch are the three main fish species in Lake Åsnen.
Eel abounds and there are many kinds of white fish, such as bream, tench,
roach and rudd. Trophy fish include pike at more than 20 kg, pikeperch
above 12 kg and eel exceeding 3 kg.

Getnö Gård has some 20 boats available, incl. Linder 410/400 Sportsman
with 4-strok, 4 hp Yamaha motors and electric alternatives. Our fishing
guides know our waters like their backyard and take you to the top fishing
spots. You can rent fishing equipment and fish finders, as well as lake
charts and a Getnö depth chart. The facility includes a reception, a fishing
shop, farm store, country café and pub.

Equipment & tactics
Spin-fishing for pike, pikeperch and perch, trolling for
pikeperch and pike, ice-fishing for perch, lake fishing and
much more. Summertime night fishing for pikeperch is a
genuine nature experience. Angling for carp and other
whitefish, fly-fishing for brown or rainbow trout, as well
as for pike, though with heavier equipment.
Regulations
At Getnö Gård we accept the rules for fishing in Lake
Åsnen issued by the Åsnen Fish Conservation Area. C&R
is the primary method.
Minimum size: Pike – 50 cm and pikeperch – 45 cm. No
more than 2 trolling rods per fishing licence. Pikeperch is
protected in May. Special rules for Put-n-Take waters.
Other activities
At Getnö you can also hire canoes and kayaks for use on
the Värend canoeing trail, touring bicycles on the Round
Åsnen cycling trail (3-4-5 km), picking berries and
mushrooms, tennis, riding Iceland ponies, nature school
for children, country café and farm store, game restaurant
and an après-fish pub.

Getnö Gård, Lake Åsnen Resort is a 15 km2 private
nature conservation area developed as a family company
since the 1970s. The Olsson family extends a hearty
welcome to Getnö Gård.

Getnö Gård has 12 detached holiday cabins, all with
kitchen, WC and shower. Some of them even have sauna
and laundry. The cabins vary in size and the number of
beds range from two to 12. There are several rustic fishing
huts without electricity. The cabins (stugor)
include: Gäddstugan, Fågelstugan & Abborrestugan, (2
beds); Älgen & Rådjuret, (4 beds) 40 m2, built 2003;
Räven & Haren (4+2 beds), 46 m2, built 2007; Härbräet
(6 beds), Hönshuset (8 beds) & Rättarebostaden (12 beds),
170 m2, renovated 2011. Rustic fishing huts without
electricity (bottled gas): Vikingaborgen (6 beds), Lavik (2
beds) & Lunnatorpet (4 beds). All cabins and huts can be
rented with or without bedding, towels and cleaning. All
are intended for self-catering, though full or half board
can be ordered from our restaurant. Getnö Gård can also
offer 3-star Nature Camping sites with 150 places.

Gustansborg
With its lovely archipelago, its forest and shores Lake Åsnen is counted a
treasure in Småland Province. Under the gleaming surface wait pike,
pikeperch, eel and perch, while large sections of the Åsnen area is known
for its rich bird fauna. Here you can indeed enjoy nature at its fullest.
Gustansborg is in Tvetaryd, a historic picturesque village dating back to
the Viking era. Today there are around 20 permanent residents.

We are located in the central part of
southern Sweden, about a 3-hour drive
from Malmö, and a 30-minute drive
SW from Växjö.
Season
Gustansborg is open year round. Our summer and autumn season offers
excellent pike, perch and pikeperch fishing. In the winter you can
experience ice-fishing, in itself a fantastic adventure.
Species & Records
The most common game fishes here are pike, pikeperch, eel and perch, but
other can be hooked as well including Crucian carp, tench and roach.
Trophy fish include pikeperch at 15 kg and pike exceeding 20 kg!
Fishing Service
Cottage rental includes the use of a Ryd J430 boat, 4.3 m long and suitable
for 4 persons. You can rent also a 2-hp Honda outboard motor.

Equipment & tactics
Lake Åsnen is a superb fishing lake. Trolling, spinning
and vertical fishing are only a few of the methods used to
catch pike, pikeperch and perch. You can also try your
hand at fly-fishing or simple angling for our white fishes.
Regulations
Pikeperch may not be taken in May. Only two trolling
rods are allowed per fishing licence. The minimum size
for pike is 50 cm, for pikeperch 45 cm.
Other activities
The beautiful Round Åsnen bicycle path runs through the
village, there are horse paths nearby, skiing and golf are
only 30 minutes away by car. The village is surrounded by
exquisite nature hiking trails.

Accommodation
This lovely old cottage is located in a small, charming
Tvetaryd village, one entirely without modern
architecture. The house is set back from the road and the
rest of the village in a secluded and relaxing location. The
house has a large garden with stone walls, and is
surrounded by beech forest. The garden is very
child-friendly and can offer activities such as football and
badminton. Inside the house you will find a well preserved
interior in the traditional Swedish style, along with the
comforts of modern life such as a TV and
DVD-player. Such modern conveniences as a stove,
fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, coffee
maker are all included. A vented and smell-free
composting toilet is installed. In total there are 6 beds and
one convertible sofa. There are 2 larger beds in a separate
bedroom, 4 beds in bunk beds, and the convertible sofa in
the living room.

Harasjömåla Fishing Camp
We offer rainbow trout and Brown trout fishing in over 20 lakes and one
artificial river.We also have good Perch and Pike fishing. Here we can
satisfy both the experienced and the beginner. Harasjömåla is
“Family-friendly” with childrens ponds, playing ground and modern
facilities. Caravan and tent-camping, 29 cabins of various standard and
size, Conference-facilities and someother activities are all available.

Location & Transfer
Harasjömåla Fishing Camp is located
in the south east corner of Sweden,
not far from the village of Olofström
(13 km). Other distances are Malmö
130 km, Karlskrona 90 km and
Stockholm 510 km.
Season
Harasjömåla is open year round, and the open water season normally goes
from late March to late November. During winter ice fishing is allowed at
some of the lakes. Best time for rainbow trout and brown trout are during
spring and fall when the water is cool. During summer they tend to feed
deeper in the lakes due to warm surface temperatures, or during the nights.
Species & Records
We stock more than 20 lakes every week with approximately 1000 kg
trout. 90% rainbow trout and 10% brown trout. The size of the fish depend
on which lake you fish, but every year anglers land rainbow trout over 7
kilos.
Fishing Service
We have a campsite for caravans and tents (57 places with electricity), 29
cabins of various standard and size, a modern servicehouse with all the
necessary facilities and comforts, including a small shop selling fishing
equipment, etc. Conference facilities are also available. The children have
a playground and small ponds to fish in.

Equipment & tactics
Fly-fishing tackle should be light and be used with the
correct rod length. The length of rods used in the lakes
should be between 9-10 foot in length and shorter rods of
about 7-8 foot in Flugströmmen. When spin fishing,
spoons in glaring colours, orange, red, yellow or
florescent green are recommended. Popular spinners are
”Zigge” , “Trutta-Pirken” Toby Flash and “Lillöringen”,
all of which should be between 5-20 grams in weight.

11 Normal Put & Take lakes / bag limit is 4 trout. Halfday
is 2 trout . Various fish size. 3 Put & Take Special lakes /
big-fish, bag limit is 4 trout. Halfday is 2 trout.Only trout
over 1,5 kg. This permit is also valid
in the above mentioned put and take lakes. Flugströmmen
(An artificial river) / Fly fishing only. Bag limit is 3 trout.
Other activities
Harasjömåla is also more than just fishing. People come
here to walk in the forest, enjoy the wildlife, pluck berries
and collect mushroom. Not far away is the Baltic coast of
Blekinge, the town of Karlshamn and famous salmon river
Mörrumsån.
Accommodation
Beautiful scenery and comfortable living! Harasjömåla
offers 57 caravan places with electricity and 40
tent-places. The camp is nearby the reception. Camping in
the lake area is not allowed. Camping includes free
admittance to a big modern service-house with kitchen,
toilets, shower, sauna and a gathering-room. The cabins
are between 12 and 135 sqm of various standard. They are
all placed nearby the Reception and camp area. The small
12 sqm cabins have no shower and toilet, but all bigger
ones are fully equipped with WC, shower, hot & cold
water and kitchen.

Hälleviks Camping
The Listerlandet area is famous for coastal fishing. At Hälleviks Camping
you’re in the midst of nature, with an always varied horizon meeting a
constantly shifting sky. Your senses are tickled by a breeze bringing
gloriously fresh, salty sea air with a touch of sea weed to your door. Only
a short walk away there are several restaurants all with fish leading the
menu, often from nearby smokehouses. Hanö Island 15 minutes off the
coast offers untested leisure fishing opportunities.

We are open all year. While we are fully staffed from April 1 through
October 15, you’ll need to book at least a week in advance of your arrival
the rest of the year. Sea trout: Feb-May, Sept; Salmon: May, June; Pike:
all year; Garfish: May, June; Cod: all year.
Species & Records
During the spring and autumn our large sea trout come in close to the
shore. Most fishing is from that shore, with some excellent wading sites.
As Hällevik lies on a peninsula there are great sites in all directions
depending only on wind, water temperature and local currents.
Fishing Service
Boats are rented from our partner Hanöbuktens Fiske och Båtturer. They
can offer both open boats and charters. Hälleviks Camping can offer row
boats and smaller outboard boats.

Regulations
Both spin and fly-rods are used from the shore. Shrimp
flies are good for sea trout and colourful flies for pike.
Spin and jerk works as well. During the summer there is
night fishing for pike and sea trout. Garfish can be caught
using spin. There are many excellent sites along the shore
for wading and trolling is also recommended. Cod is
normally fished from a boat using pilk.
Salmon and sea trout may not be fished between
September 15 and December 31. Minimum size for

Laxlyckan is your guide and instructor on the Mörrumså River, one of
Sweden’s best known salmon and sea trout waters. We’ll guide you or
your whole group through both public and private stretches. We’ve guided

Sweden can be fished 50 km upstream
as it flows through Blekinge Province.
Mörrum is located in SW Blekinge,

Copenhagen 200 km southwest. The
Kastrup airport is 2.5 hours by car.
From mid-March to the end of April – mainly fishing spawned sea trout at
the usual 3-6 kg weights. May-June – fishing for newly migrated salmon
at 8-20 kg. August-September – fishing for newly migrated sea trout and
salmon at 3-15 kg.

At normal water levels:
• March-April: Fly rods – 13-16´, sinking lines, sinking
snoods, 4-2 / 4-8 cm flies. Spin rods – 9-10´with 8 kg
lines and 15-30 g long, narrow lures.
• May-June: Fly rods – 12-15´, intermediate lines, 8-4 cm
flies. Spin rods – 9-10´, 8 kg lines with 10-20 g lures.
• August-September: Fly rods – 10-14´, #7-10, floating,

Regulations
While we recommend catch and release fishing, you are
allowed to retain two salmon type fishes/day/person, none
shorter than 50 cm. In March-April all female salmon are
to be released and in September sea trout females as well.

Rainbow fishing in private lake on boats. There is a
hunting cabin and a hot tub. Hot and cold bathing huts at
Väggabadet in Karlshamn.
Wilderness – hike the salmon trail or cycle on the rail
embankment trail. Animals/nature – Eriksberg Game

Mörrumsån
Salmon fishing in river Mörrumsån has a very long tradition, with royal
connections since time immemorial. The original spears were gradually
replaced by salmon tubs, hoop nets, salmon seines and salmon nets, which
were in use as late as the mid 1960’s. Today, however, all commercial
salmon fishing has ceased, but the old permanent fishing areas at
Kungsforsen and Hönebygget, can still be seen. The only other salmon
and sea trout fishing allowed is angling.

River Mörrumsån is located next to
the little village of Mörrum, found
some 4 km upstream from the river
mouth, in the southeast corner of
Sweden. The distance to Karlshamn is
10 km, Karlskrona 60 km, Malmö 140
km and Copenhagen 170 km.
Season
Fishing season: Mars 30th - September 30th. In the event of thick ice at
the beginning of April, fishing may be cancelled. Fishing area etc.: The
Crown Salmon Fishery has 32 pools. “The southern section” pools 1 - 16
“the northern section” pools 17 - 32 and the area Vittskövle, Knaggalid
and Härnäs. Blue signs mark the boundaries between the respective pools.
The pools are reserved for fly- spin fishing.

Next to The Angling office is a restaurant where you can eat everything
from the “Speciality of the day” to a luxurious à la Carte meal, or even
just simply enjoy a cup of coffee. Guide service is available through the

Equipment & tactics
The spinning-rod should be between 9-10 feet and be able
to cope with bait between 20-40g. Cast or spin reels
should be equipped with approx. 200 m of line, with a
minimum tensile strength of 8 kg. The spin-fly method is
the most popular. Fly rods should be a minimum of 14
feet, class 10-11. The line should be sinking, or fast
sinking and the leader should have a minimum tensile
strength of 8 kg. Flies and bait used during this period are
rather large, 5-8 cm and are red, orange or light brown in
color.
Regulations
Personal fishing permits are to be obtained at the angling
office at Mörrum. The fishing permit should be clearly
visible while fishing and be presented on request for
closer examination to any member of the staff. A booked
fishing area does not give one the right to begin fishing
before the fishing permit is paid for and collected. All
other rules will be presented when license is collected.
Accommodation
Stay in our fishing paradise. We can offer simple, but
basic, accommodation close to the fishing office and the
Mörrum River, indeed, some with views over the running
water. It is possible to do your own catering or take your
meals in the restaurant, which is part of the office
complex. In the village of Mörrum there are several
accommodation alternatives available, from hotels to
basic cabins.

The number of anglers in the early years was relatively
few, but today the Crown Salmon Fishery attracts some
12-13 000 anglers annually. The daily number of anglers

Spin and fly-equipment is right for coastal pike and sea
trout fishing. Fly fishing can also be done wading or from
a fishing kayak. Spin pike fishing calls primarily for jerk
bait or jig presented from a boat or kayak. Trolling is used
for salmon fishing fitted with deep rigs and paravanes.
Regulations
C&R is the general rule for pike fishing, though two pikes
between 40 and 70 cm can be landed for eating at the
camp each day.

Sandhamn Marine

The Sandhamn Marine lies next to
Torshamn Point, Sweden’s
south-eastern point. It’s some 32 km
from the Karlskrona railroad station
and around 55 km from the Ronneby
Airport. By car its around three hours
to the Malm/Öresund Bridge or to
Trelleborg Ferry Terminal.
We’re open all year. Pike fishing is best from April through November,
cod and salmon for the same period. Sea trout seasons are January – May
and August – September, while perch bites from May through August.

According to the county administrative board the Torshamn archipelago
has the best pike reproduction in Sweden and the pike fishing holds world
class. The 2011 record is 15.2 kg.

Svalemåla Sport Fishing & Conference
For this country’s best pike fishing in protected waters come to the
Swedish archipelago closest to the continent in Blekinge Province. Live in

pikes exceed 100 cm. In September 2011 a pike weighing 11.7 kg and one
at 10.3 kg were caught here.

Equipment & tactics
In Svalemåla most everyone fishes pike with jerk bait or
wobbler, though fly-fishing is possible. During the winter,
spring and autumn seasons the pikes are found in the
coves, while from June-August they migrate to deeper
waters depending on the temperature. All guests use C&R
for pike, though if you wish to catch fish to eat you can jig
for cod in deeper water only 15 minutes from the dock.
Regulations
Pike – min 40 cm / max 75 cm; max three/day, but most
everyone uses C&R. Cod – min 38 cm. Salmon and brown
trout – min 40 cm; off-limits Sept 15 – December 31.

We have bicycles, kayaks and a sailboat for hire. There
are hiking trails of varying length and difficulty and the
Bräkneleden Cycling Trail passes the Svalemåla Cabin
Village.

All six 6-person cabins are around 45 sq.m. They have a
loft at both ends and six beds – a double in the

microwave, coffee maker and utensils for six. The living
room has TV, kitchen furniture and a corner sofa. The
four 4-person cabins are around 35 sq.m. in size. This
smaller cabin has one loft with a double bed and the
ground-floor bedroom has a bunk-bed where the lower
bed is extra large. The living room has a combi-kitchen
with a sink, oven and refrigerator/freezer, coffee maker,
kitchen furniture, TV and utensils for four. There are
bathrooms with WC/shower in all cabins, as well as a
parking place and a terrace with outdoor furniture and a
grill. We can also rent out cabins close to the sea, but
outside our cabin village.

Ödevata Fiskecamp
You’ll find the Ödevata Fishing Camp in Småland Province offering
lodgings and activities for small and large groups in the midst of wondrous
lakes and enchanted forests. The inveterate fishing enthusiast can pick and
choose from among many types of waters, ranging from shallow
clear-water lakes to magical forest tarns. In five of the lakes you can hire
boats and book a fishing guide. It is to this, the southernmost virgin
wilderness in Sweden that Malin and Magnus extends a warm welcome.

Ödevata is located in southern
Sweden between Växjö, Kalmar and
Karlskrona. By car it is 10 min from
the Emmaboda railway station, one
hour from Karlskrona, 45 min from
the Kalmar Airport, one hour from the
Växjö Airport, three hours from
Malmö, five from Stockholm and four
from Göteborg.
The fishing-season lasts the whole year. Spring fishing for pike begins in
April-May. From June through August summer fishing pike, pikeperch
and perch are the goal. September through November offers more of the
same, while winter fishing in January, February and March focuses on
pike and perch.
Species & Records
The primary species in our lakes are: Pike – record in the deepest lake is
13 kg (2012). Perch – 1.1 kg (2012) and 0.9 kg (2009) in the closest
lake. Pikeperch – 7.5 kg 2010 in the largest lake. Tench – 1.8 kg and
Crucian carp: 0.9 kg in the closest lake.
Fishing Service
You can rent boats at Ödevata FiskeCamp, Linder 440s with
environmentally friendly electric motors. There is also a small tackle shop
with equipment suited for the local lakes. You can also rent fishing
equipment and life jackets. A fishing guide can be booked. Most fishing
sites are accessible from the shore and docks in the camp. Magnus, your
fishing host, was born here and as he grew up among the area lakes, he
knows them in and out.

Equipment & tactics
There are more than 100 lakes in the Emmaboda
municipality. We sell fishing licences for eight of them
and have boats in five. The primary lake fishing is for
pike, perch, bream and tench, but we also have excellent
pikeperch and rainbow waters. Starting at the camp, the
lakes are located within a 20 km radius. For pike and
perch the equipment range is broad, including jerk, spin,
coarse fishing and trolling. You can also fly-fish for pike!
Regulations
Pikeperch – minimum length 45 cm, one/day/angler; Pike
– min/max 40-70 cm, one/day/angler. We recommend
C&R as the natural way to fish, done with respect for the
fish. No fish are allowed to be taken away from the camp
and brought home.
Other activities
Ödevata’s nature and setting, grill sites, beaches, hiking
trails, paddling, cycling, picking mushrooms and berries,
sauna and guided nature experiences. We are close to the
Kingdom of Crystal, Kalmar Castle, Öland Island with all
it has to offer, as well as the National Naval Museum in
Karlskrona.

We can offer various lodging alternatives, such as your
own house with self-catering or a room in our B&B in the
main complex building. For larger groups of up to 30
persons renting the whole 15-bedroom building is an

activities and excursions for groups and have generous
parking facilities. We offer four different self-catering
cottages on our premises and they are all fully equipped
for self-catering with running water, WC/shower and TV
offering Swedish, English and German channels. They
also have barbecue and outdoor furniture. Ödevata 1 & 2
are located some 60-100 meters from the lake and both
can accommodate 6 persons. Ödevata 4, Sjöstugan, with
its small guesthouse can host 5 persons and is located just
by the lakeshore. Ödevata 3, Alsjömla, is a 120 m2, 8 bed
guesthouse located in a beautiful setting some 600 m from
the lake and camp.
