DISTRIBUTORS’ GROUP SELECTS OFFICERS At its annual meeting in April in Scottsdale, AZ the American Machine Tool Distributors’ Assn. elected new officers and board members. The group’s new secretary is Van Crotts, CMTSE. Van is the president of Crotts & Saunders Engineering Inc. (Winston-Salem, NC) and son of Marcos Crotts, who served as the Assn.’s chairman in 1982. Van represents SC, NC, and VA for Weldon Solutions. Congratulations Van!!!! Luke McNinch Weldon would like to welcome back to “the team” our former “York College Intern” Luke McNinch. Luke will be working part-time during the summer months as a mechanical engineer. Luke recently graduated from York College and will be going for his Masters at Virginia Tech in the near future. He will be helping out John Bennett and his team of engineers. Welcome back Luke!!! It is a 1975 Chevy Nova with a 350 cubic inch small block engine. Mike Ambrose proudly reveals his favorite toy…. Mark Killian had his son, Jason, in to work for the day. Should we hire him? Chase Bixler Weldon would like to welcome to “the team” our new employee, Chase Bixler. Chase is a loyal hunter and fisherman. He likes to spend time in the mountains every chance he gets. Chase will be helping out in the shop area doing various jobs. Good Luck Chase! Jason even wore the Weldon shirt to make it official. On May 22nd Weldon went Go Carting! There was a great turnout. Over 40 employees, family and friends had a crashing time. Take me out to the ballgame!! Weldon attended the York Revolution game on June 30, 2007. Charlie Gales’ son, Mark, was lucky that night. He was given a ball from the game, by a player in the dugout. George Sipe and his grandson, Taylan wait their turn. It was a fun night for all. The game was on the home field in York and was followed with fireworks! Ummm, who should we “crash into”? A ME, EE, or an AE! Pictured with the Downtown Revolution bird is Tamara Gibson’s son Ja’kobe.
