hat started as a personal spiritual quest
for Ece Sirin, who once strode the power
corridors of brands such as Coca Cola and
Microsoft, has resulted in Bee Goddess – the
world’s first talismanic fine jewellery brand.
Founded in 2007 in Istanbul, Bee Goddess has
quickly grown to be a global success story, both
in the jewellery industry as a whole and to the
company’s clientele, who view the jewellery as a

Timeless sacred symbols, some
dated as early as 7500BC, are woven
throughout the collections, taking the
wearer on a spiritual and mythological
journey towards one’s own inner divinity.
The archetypal symbols are keys to connect
to our inner nature and unlock the power of
our subconscious; to shine the soul’s light.
Each design acts as a bridge to an inner
realm or hidden treasure, bringing alive the
depths of the unconscious to become clear
visualizations and dreams. When wearing
a piece of Bee Goddess jewellery, we are
inspired and encouraged to unleash our
soul’s potential.
Bee Goddess has expanded at an
astonishing rate in its short, seven year
history, now with three Turkish boutiques
and 13 corners worldwide including
Harrods, Luisa Via Roma, Corso Como 10,
Harvey Nichols, Opening Ceremony and
Bloomingdales. The 12 original talismanic
symbols have now grown into 12 collections
of 63 different symbols with over 900
individual designs, starting at £150 for midi
rings up to £27,000 for a limited edition
piece. Popular collections such as the Eros
Arrow and Appleseed have quickly proven
bestsellers in Harrods. Celebrity fans agree,
with longtime supporters including Donna
Karan, Kate Moss, Kylie Minogue, Rihanna,
Cara Delevingne, Lily Cole.
Ece and her fiancé Cemil Dincmen split
their time between Istanbul, where the
jewellery is crafted, and the creative hub of
London, where they are now launching the
brand worldwide. They view Bee Goddess
as a fresh alternative to the luxury brands
which dominate the market – theirs is an
‘Enlightened Luxury’ which is not a status

justice, truth, balance Feathers are a symbol of magical communication with the spirit world. In
alchemy, birds and feathers represent the air element, heavenly realms and protection.
In mythology, Freya is a Goddess known for her spectacular beauty. She travels in different realms
by using her magical feather cloak to shape shift into a bird. She takes the lighthearted ones under
her wings. Her gift is the victory of the heart. Her magic feathers bring us passion and devotion for all
things that make our hearts sing. The feather is the divine inspiration, peace and freedom of the soul.
Feathers are also the symbol of the goddess of justice, Ma’at, an archetype of divine order and cosmic
harmony. She had a single feather against which she weighed the hearts to reward deserving souls.
Her message was “It’s the little things that count”. If our thoughts and actions are in harmony with
divine order we rule our kingdom with a “light heart”.

When you slice an apple in two, the seed
appears as a five pointed star known as
the pentagram. The five-pointed star is the
manifestation of light, the mystic center someone blazing like the light itself.
As one of the symbols of the love goddess
Venus, apple is the fruit of knowledge
of the soul and its desire to manifest.
The apple seed symbolizes the union
between man and woman, spiritual and
material; heaven and earth. Five-rayed
star represents the balance and harmony
of the elements: earth, air, fire, water
and spirit and five senses. Five is a lucky
number also the number of protection.
A pentagram is a powerful key of magic;
it brings intellectual, physical and spiritual
prime; the power of wisdom and the ability
to manifest our desires. The pentagram
has been a protection talisman painted
and hung above doors, a symbol of the
Goddess of life, the elements. In ancient
Greece, the Pythagoreans considered it
a symbol of perfection. The apple seed
invites new opportunities in love, fertility
and renewal into our lives.
The Pythagoreans adopted the fivepointed star as an emblem of health and
mystic harmony, combining the number
two (terrestrial and feminine) with three
(heavenly and masculine). The number
five represents unity and manifestation.

number of the heart, expresses the power
of mind and of will power.
Pentagram looks like a human being with
2 legs, 2 arms and the head. It represents
the 5 fingers on each hands and feet, 5
senses and more. The five points also
correspond to qualities of justice, mercy,
wisdom, understanding and splendor
as well as the balance of the elements:
earth, air, fire, water and spirit. The symbol
is also related to good health and Hygiea,
goddess of healing.
