to wait out the rain and finish play. The 70+ had
some wind to contend with but no rain.

2011 Summer Games will be held in Fairview
(July 21-24) and will provide seniors the
opportunity to pursue greater levels of physical
activity and intellectual challenges in an
entertaining and stimulating environment.
Canada 55 plus Games are held in the even
years on a two year cycle. If Alberta Lottery
funding is obtained by Alberta 55 plus, it is
evenly distributed among participants to help
partially cover expenses incurred during the
Canada 55 plus Games.
Your Calgary 55 plus Board may also provide
some financial support, when funds are
available, to members advancing to Provincial
and/or Canada Games, who have maintained a
continuous membership from year to year in
the Alberta 55 plus Association.
