For two seasons, Miller called the plays alongside Al Michaels and NFL Hall of Fame quarterback Dan Fouts on ABC’s Monday Night Football. He was also the “Weekend Update” correspondent on Saturday Night Live for six years, before exiting in 1991. Over the years, Miller has become both a public and critical favorite. “The Hollywood Reporter” called his most recent special “an hour of topical, scathing brilliance that helps cement Miller’s status as the Lenny Bruce of the new millennium…the most cerebral, astute, and clever stand-up ever to put mouth to microphone.” 25 | 75 SPECIAL GUEST Kevin Nealon << KEYNOTE INFORMATION Thursday Morning Eye-Opener Thursday, June 5, 9:00 a.m.–10:30 a.m. Kevin Nealon sets himself apart from other comedic performers with his unique sense of humor, dry wit, and likeable demeanor. SAP and ASUG are pleased to offer transportation between the Orange County Convention Center North/South Building to 72 | 75 CONFERENCE LOGISTICS www.sapphirenow.com Wireless Internet Access Complimentary wireless Internet access is available for conference attendees. However, we encourage attendees with 3G/4G cellular data service to use that as your primary means of connectivity to ensure that attendees without cellular data service have optimal performance. To provide you with a better experience on the show floor and in the common space, two wireless networks (SSIDs) are available for attendee use: •Orlando2014 on 5.0 GHz network (iPhone 5/5s, iPads, tablets, and laptops) •Orlando2014_OLD on 2.4 GHz network (iPhone 4/4s, iPod Touch, most smartphones, and older laptops) | www.asug.com Important: Due to the number of attendees and limitations of Wi-Fi technology, the wireless networks can become oversaturated quickly in high-density environments. This is especially true for most smartphones and older laptops that use the 802.11g (2.4 GHz) protocol, which is limited to three channels. Devices that use 802.11an (5.0 GHz) work more efficiently in a high-density environment because 24 channels are available. Newer laptops, iPhone 5, iPads, and some tablets have wireless adapters capable of using this frequency. For best performance, we strongly suggest that you use the cellular service on your older 2.4 devices whenever possible. Thank you to CenturyLink Technology Solutions for sponsoring the Internet bandwidth service. To maintain the integrity of the Wi-Fi service, do not use devices such as MiFis, personal access points, and wireless routers while at the conference. These devices will cause additional interference for attendees, demos, and sessions. 73 | 75 THANK YOU www.sapphirenow.com 74 | 75 | www.asug.com CELEBRATION NIGHT www.sapphirenow.com | www.asug.com over 130 million albums and consistently delivered #1 albums and Top Ten hits while performing more than 2,900 concerts in over 53 countries for upwards of 37.5 million fans.
