Very little training is needed. The system guides every step of the process and based on the answers to certain questions guides the user to the appropriate process. Simple process Limits the options the user needs to deal with Underlying goal of the guided process RECORD WHAT IS ACTUALLY HAPPENING Don’t be so strict (hard stops in the system) that the user does one thing and records something different Daily View – on the Tablet Technician has an organized view on the tablet to provide easy access Overall Process Rental Agreement Delivery Service Determination Truck Assignment Equipment Check in Equipment Determination Equipment Assignment to Customer Billing Document Posting to Accounting Maintenance Agenda A bit about The Players Joerns/RecoverCare Savantis The Problem The Solution Preview Project Principles Learnings Unintended consequences Scope is never 100% defined Preview Buy Move Log in Deliver Tag Now The Communications Post PI Y Lookup PI Correct N 1 2 3 PI 4 Correct Posting The Project Shipping Ride Takes the Order BOM Assigns Driver to the Order Cheetah Inventory JET Mobile Completion/Serial# Motorola ES400S Mobile SOTI Mobile Billing Mobile LIAKA Route/Activity/items Inventory Mobile SAP Process Weaver Mobile Mobile Galaxy Note 3 Mobile SOTI Completion/Serial# Route/Activity/items SAP Mobile Mobile Shipping Cheetah Overall Goals All outlets solution (including sales and nurses) – ALL products managed within the system All data available to all users No manual imposed transactional order Complete Serialization: Implement serial number barcodes for all products and major parts including mattresses that can be scanned (13 digit number with last number the verifier – similar to credit card numbers) Use of a Tablet and Smartphone to run the system. Real estate of Smartphone is insufficient Use of a local application on the device – no need to wait for data to be updated to the server – push technology. Increases speed. Use of QR tags (quick response) at every key step in the process to provide real time snap shot information about the product without any connection to the database Overall Goals Use of guided processes to complete the procedure Ability for the system to self-correct when a process was not followed correctly Correct the status and location to what is happening now even though previous status and/or location is not logical for the process that is taking place. Fully integrated shipping solution Mobile printers to print QR tags Mobile printers in trucks to print Shipping label** Electronic Signatures Paperless system – Electronic delivery documentation – emailed, faxed while at the customer. Very little training required for a technician to be a Full User. ** Technology to be confirmed Agenda A bit about The Players Joerns/RecoverCare Savantis The Problem The Solution Preview Project Principles Learnings Unintended consequences Scope is never 100% defined Learnings Making something easier is not always better If a PR is easy to create you will get a lot If authorizing a purchase is easy you spend too much money If it is too hard it does not get done Tagging while you receive – not everything is received Off-Line capability is hard The Now principle is very time dependent Stored data uses battery Native is a good thing HTML5 created coding problems HTML5 ended up being device specific Learnings No one is more different than people Scoping is iterative Simulations are a must (JustinMind) Modules, Modules and Modules Be strict in the code design Do not allow “special circumstances” The Use Clean Master Data – This is an ongoing process Manage Idocs Testing : identify ALL scenarios for ALL Apps and make sure we test it end to end. Stats 2013 = 683 134 Total Messages 2013 = 56 927 Messages Per Month 2014 = 1 093 235 Total Messages 2014 = 190 127 Messages Per Month 334% Increase in monthly usage = PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL APPS FROM PHASE 2 ARE NOT IN USE AT THIS TIME – THESE NUMBERS WILL DEFINITELY INCREASE IN THE NEXT FEW MONTHS Thank You!
