Determine the square footage by measuring the length and width of your space and then multiplying the two measurements. 3. Use the percentages in this guide to determine the amount of each tile size you need. For example: if you have a 100 sq ft room and your pattern calls for 80% 12” tile, and 20% 6” tile, you will need 80 sq ft of 12” tile and 20 sq ft of 6” tile. 4.
