Redberry Bible Camp is owned and operated by the Saskatchewan Conference of
Mennonite Brethren churches and operated by the Redberry Bible Camp Association.
The Camp was established to assist these churches in evangelism and personal growth
through a high quality camping program.
The camp is located on the east Shore of Redberry Lake, 90 kilometers from Saskatoon.
Redberry is surrounded by poplar and aspen trees as well as many varieties of wild flowers.
Many species of birds and animals make their homes around the camp. Redberry provides a
natural environment for retreats, conferences, outdoor education, and reunions.
Directions to Redberry
Take highway 12 North of Saskatoon. Cross the North Saskatchewan River.
Turn West on Grid road 781. Follow the signs into camp. For directions from North

Please Note:
 Guest group must provide their own instructor for the Skateboard Park
 Redberry Bible Camp may provide limited programming in the evening.
 All Programming that includes a Redberry Staff member must be arranged ahead of time
with the Main Office.
 Outside of the May- June’s rental season, if programming is requested extra charges may
apply.
Redberry Rental Policies

Camp rental includes the use of the site, buildings, and recreational equipment that have been selected
by the Rental group. (Horses, & Swimming pool, are available at extra cost – during specified
dates)
1. Deposit
a. A Reservation / Damage Deposit is required with the Rental Application to
confirm Rental Dates. Your selected dates will not be held until we have
received the Reservation/Damage Deposit. Please submit your
Reservation/Damage deposit no later then 30 days prior to your booking date.
(No exceptions,due to the high demand for specific dates.)

$250.00 Additional Food Service Deposit for Catered Camps
The deposit will be applied against the total bill upon completion of rental period.

All rental rates are subject to an additional 5% GST
2. Cancellations:
a. The $250.00 Reservation / Damage Deposit is refundable until 30 days prior or
it can be transferred to a rescheduled booking at a later date.
b. The $250.00 Food Service Deposit is refundable until 30 days prior to rental
dates. (This does not include the Reservation/Damage deposit).
3. Damage Fee:
a. The guest group is responsible for damages to camp property. The camp
withholds the $250.00 Reservation / Damage Deposit until the damage has been
assessed and paid. The amount remaining or owing will then be refunded or
charged.
b. Cleaning
A $20.00 per hour cleaning fee will be assessed for any Guest Group clean
up left unfinished.
4. Rental Time Period – Rental rates for the first day are based on a 24-hour time period.
First day begins at the time the guest group arrives.
Note: Rental rates for the second day are based on a 12-hour time period.
Example 1: Friday from 6:00pm to Sunday at 6:00am = 1.5 day rental
Example 2: Friday from 6:00pm to Sunday at 7:00am = 2 day rental

Rules and Regulations
COMMON RULES





NO SMOKING is allowed in buildings or anywhere on camp property.
Telephone calls must be COLLECT OR BY CALLING CARD.
NO PETS are allowed on the camp property.
ALL CABINS must have an ADULT SUPERVISOR.
ALL ACTIVITIES, both learning and recreational are to be SUPERVISED BY AN ADULT.
SITE AND FACILITIES








NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES OR NON - PRESCRIPTION DRUGS are allowed on camp property.
QUIET HOURS - 11:00 PM TO 6:OO AM.
Fire extinguishers and alarms are for fire emergency only. DO NOT TAMPER WITH FIRE EQUIPMENT.
Vehicles are restricted to PARKING LOT areas only.
Camp buildings and grounds must be RESPECTED AND KEPT CLEAN.
VEGETATION AND WILDLIFE are to be left UNTOUCHED.
Fires are permitted in DESIGNATED AREAS ONLY.
All DAMAGES AND BREAKAGE’S must be REPORTED IMMEDIATELY. Guest groups are responsible for
payment of damages resulting from willful or negligent activities.
SKILL ACTIVITY RULES





ALL ACTIVITIES, both learning and recreational are to be SUPERVISED BY AN ADULT.
Skill areas and equipment must be CLEANED UP, PUT AWAY AND LOCKED UP once skill periods are finished for
the day.
Skill areas SHOULD NOT BE LEFT UNATTENDED while set up.
Groups who are running their own skills recognize that THEY ARE ASSUMING COMPLETE LIABILITY AND
RESPONSIBILITY FOR ALL USERS.
Skill areas and equipment must be RESPECTED AND KEPT CLEAN.
POOL RULES



A QUALIFIED LIFEGUARD (CURRENT NLS and CPR “C”)
is required for the use of the swimming pool. A
lifeguard may be provided by Redberry Bible Camp upon availability. This is not guaranteed. Guest
groups may be required to provide their own lifeguard. Please inquire about availability before you
arrive. The lifeguard must be on duty whenever the pool is in use, and the pool must be LOCKED if not
in use.
Swimming pool use is restricted to DAYLIGHT HOURS ONLY.
Lifeguards that are provided by the guest group must provide copies of their current NLS and CPR
“C”to the camp office prior to pool rental.

Rental Group’s Camp Clean Up
Cabin













Carry belongings out of cabin; check under mattresses and on clothesline.
Sweep the cabin floor and under each mattress, use broom and dustpan. Put dust in garbage can.
Take garbage to the dumpster in the storage shed that is on the west side of the dining hall or to the dump trailer in the
maintenance area.
Get spray bottle and a rag from the mop room in the dining hall. Spray and wipe down mattress. Put rag in mop room and the
spray back on the shelf it came from.
Get mop and pail from the mop room in the dining hall, fill mop pail from the bucket fill on the dispenser
Wash cabin floor, take mop and pail back to the mop room, rinse mop and pail, and hang mop to dry.
Wipe out any spider webs in the corners of the cabin, around the ceiling, door and windows.
Check around the outside of you cabin for any garbage and/or clothing and take to appropriate location.
Turn off cabin lights, heater and fan. Close windows and you’re done!

Horseback riding is available May 20 – July 1.
An experienced wrangler is provided by RBC.
A Group information session on horsemanship and riding safety is provided

Allergy Note: Food plays such a basic role in feeling cared for and included. Knowing this, it gives us great
pleasure to be able to adapt our menu items to meet a variety of special dietary needs. We are willing and able
to provide appropriate options for those who need gluten free, dairy free or vegetarian meals and snacks.
Please advice the camp office if you have any dietary needs when selecting your menu.
While we cannot guarantee a nut-free kitchen, we at Redberry make an effort to insure none of the ingredients
in our menu contain nuts or “traces of.”

REDBERRY BIBLE CAMP IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY INJURIES AND LOST OR
STOLEN PERSONAL PROPERTY
As the renter of Redberry Bible camp’s facilities I understand that the camp reserves the right to host multiple
groups. I recognize that with the Reservation/Damage Deposit the Camp will hold the agreed upon dates for our
encampment. Cancellations are only refundable or transferable 30 days prior. If a cancellation occurs prior
to 30 days before camp dates the Food Service Deposit will be refunded.

We understand that Redberry Bible Camp reserves the right to withhold the Reservation/Damage Deposit if we
are responsible for any damage done to the Camp property. Damages will be assessed and paid, and the amount
remaining or owing refunded or charged respectively.
We ask that you the renter of our facilities please include along with your application a copy of your
insurance. Your policy should indicate that a third party (Redberry Bible Camp) is named as an additional
party covered under your insurance policy.
Redberry Bible Camp is not liable for any illness, accident, or misfortune that may occur during your stay at
camp. Redberry Bible camp is not responsible for any lost or stolen personal items. Redberry staff, volunteers,
its directors, or the employees of facilities outside of the campgrounds are hereby released from all liability in
the event that the above may occur.
I hereby release Redberry Bible Camp from any claims resulting in injury, accident, misfortune, loss, and stolen
items while at the camp. I understand that by signing this document I am stating that my insurance covers all of
the above for all the organizations participants.
I affirm that all of the information given is correct and accurate. I understand the policies and regulations of
