it’s so humid that water gets behind

deep under the eaves. I put up

pm after Tim Wakefield threw his first five
pitches against the Phillies and was done at
4:15 pm. That included digging out my ladder,
tools, marking locations, mounting the brackets, snapping in the Rainhandler sections and
cleaning up afterward!
Rainhandlers go up easily. You put up the
brackets then snap the louvers in place. It’s
really straightforward, no problem at all. A pair
of tinsnips, a screwdriver, and a drill and you’re
in business.Not many home improvements are

Installing Rainhandlers on most homes is a half-a-day job. If you start early you can be done by lunchtime!
Installation’s FAST because Rainhandlers were designed to be an easy D-I-Y project: just screw the
brackets (included) to your home’s fascia board (where ordinary gutters go). Then snap the fivefoot Rainhandler sections into the brackets.
That’s all there is to it unless you have a special situation like an unprotected doorway. We have

3 SIMPLE STEPS for foolproof installation
1. MEASURE
2. MOUNT BRACKETS
Measure the total length of your drip edges in
feet and divide by 5. That’s how many 5-foot
Rainhandlers you’ll need. If you end up with
a fraction, order 1 extra section.
Line up the square bottom edge of each bracket
with the lower edge of your fascia board. Drill
holes and screw in the Rainhandler brackets.

3. SNAP IN RAINHANDLERS
I wanted to get rid of my plastic gutters
because cleaning them was a pain in the neck.
They clogged and didn’t work. I got tired of
hauling myself up the ladder each year and
dredging the leaves out. I looked at the covers
for the top of the gutter troughs but that just
seemed a little bogus to me.
Slide the SECOND louver over the bracket hook and press down gently on the back edge of the
Rainhandler – it snaps easily into place. Later, when you paint your home, it’ll snap out just as easily.

How does Rainhandler perform in freezing weather?
A: Ordinary gutters help cause ice dams because they trap ice and
snow which can build up and create a dam, forcing water from
melting snow back under your shingles. Rainhandlers CAN'T
