• Elite Banking is specially designed to keep up with your
lifestyle and growing financial needs, giving you the value
you are looking for.
Elite Banking offers an Elite Plus second current account
for your spouse or life partner at a reduced monthly fee, as
well as additional cards linked to your account for your spouse,
partner or family.
Elite Banking pricing
There are three pricing options to choose from:
• Fixed monthly service fee (Plus option)
– pay a fixed monthly service fee for a bundle of
transactions and services.
– S hould the customer exceed the transactions included in
the bundle per month, the additional transactions will be
priced according to the PAYT option.
• Pay as you transact with a minimum monthly service fee
– you pay for each transaction.
• Rebate – keep a specified minimum daily balance in your
account for a full calendar month and we will refund
a portion of the service fees incurred under
‘Pay as you transact’.

We realise that your child requires banking which is affordable,
convenient and meets their individual financial needs.
The following banking solutions are available:

A second Elite Plus Current account
As an Elite Banking Plus Current customer, your spouse or
life partner also qualifies for an Elite Plus Current account at
a reduced monthly service fee of R78,00. The second Elite
Plus Current account, which can be opened in your spouse or
life partner’s name, has the same bundle of transactions and
services.
Your spouse or life partner will receive:
• Their own Elite Plus Current account operating as
a separate account, with the same transaction
bundle included.
• Their own Gold Cheque card with no annual card fees.

Deposit fee is charged on each cheque deposited.
Prepaid recharges at another bank’s ATMs will attract a fee of R6,70. When using
another bank’s ATM to draw cash, you will pay the Standard Bank ATM cash
withdrawal fee and an additional R6,70.

Where there is no Standard Bank ATM available in a town or if it is offline, the
Standard Bank ATM cash withdrawal fee applies.

Debit and stop orders to another Standard Bank account in favour of personal
loan/RCP/WTP/student loans are only charged at R4,00.

service fees are not more than this amount.

Rebate option
The rebate is applicable to fees incurred on Standard Bank
ATM cash withdrawals, electronic inter-account transfers,
electronic account payments, debit orders, cheques and
Cheque card purchases. It also applies to the minimum
monthly service fee.
