and women, including facials, purifying body wraps, intense body scrubs and intricate
hand and foot care. Our experienced spa therapists will nurture and care for you with

AQUAMEDIC POOL
Experience the sensation of a pool heated to up to 30 degrees with a water station
massage and exercise bar. This reduces excess cellulite and improves your muscle tone,
flexibility and circulation through a series of aquatic leg exercises. Feel the force of the
water jets massaging your feet, lower back and shoulders under jet streams and pounding
waterfalls or simply relax and revive your body with an efervescent massage.
Do you know why Aquamedic Pool is good for you?
Q: Would you like to shape-up in healthy conditions?
A: When our lymph drainage slows down, the body fluid gets stuck in our body and it
gives a sensation of puffiness. The Aquamedic Pool will stimulate your body circulation
to release puffiness and encourage the burning of the excess fat. Your body metabolism
will be increased in order to prevent the so called “metabolic syndrome”.
Q: Catching cold easily?
A: If our lymph drainage slows down, our immune system gets weak. Excercise in the
14 degrees cold Jacuzzi which will stimulate your lymphatic circulation, preventing the
flu or sickness.
Q: Do you suffer from hypothermia?
A: The Aquamedic Pool will stimulate your body cells and improve hypothermia and
help with the prevention of cold.
Q: Is your skin allergic?
A: If you feel itchy or get a minor rash when you try the Aquamedic Pool, it means your
skin is in healing process. Do not worry, Aquamedic Pool stimulates lymph and body
circulation to release toxins from your body to promote inner strength.
Q: What if the toxins remain in our body?
A: If our body cannot release toxins, mainly they will remain inside our liver. The toxins
can cause skin problems and they can also weaken our immune system.
Q: Do you get tired easily?
A: Dead cells contain the so called “fatigue factor”, poor drainage condition causes you
to suffer from fatigue or trigger of neck / back pain. The detoxification effect of the Aquamedic

The Hot Stone massage promotes deep muscle and tissue relaxation, alleviates stress

This traditional massage from Bali, engages a variety of techniques, including acupressure

Thai massage is an ancient ayurvedic healing art. Through application of pressure on
energy lines and points, and a vast array of passive stretching movements performed

energy.

Swedish Massage

Swedish massage uses five basic movements to increase circulation and remove toxins
from the muscles. Always working towards the heart, the massage therapist incorporates
these techniques into a flowing massage session that leaves the patient physically and
emotionally relaxed.

Reflexologies often concentrate on the hands and feet due to their plentiful reflex
points. Each reflex point relates to a particular area of the body, including the organs

This repairing and anti-ageing facial works with natural oils and stem cells to repair

tightened skin. The eye area is taken care of with a lymphatic massage to improve skin

The Refinery Deep Cleanse for Men

ARRIVAL TIME
You are encouraged to arrive a minimum of 30 minutes prior to your appointment to
enjoy the serenity of Body & Soul at our hotel. Please be advised that late arrivals may
result in a reduction of their treatment time.
SPA TREATMENTS
All treatments include the use of the Relaxation Areas and are available to in-house
guests of the Al Raha Beach Hotel.
For outside guests, all treatments are available; however a minimum treatment booking
time of one hour is required for access to the Relaxation Areas. Bookings must be
secured with a credit card.
SPA DAY PASS
If you wish to use the wet facilities without a spa reservation you will need to pay a day
pass fee of AED 120 per person.
SCHEDULING AN APPOINTMENT
To schedule an appointment for the perfect treatment, please consult our specialist Spa
reception team who will guide you to the right choice. To ensure your preferred time
and service is available we do advise booking in advance.
Our Spa environment is one of relaxation and tranquility. Please respect all Spa guests’
right to privacy and serenity. Body & Soul is a smoke-free zone.
Body & Soul Spa will provide towels, slippers, shower caps and all amenities required
for use during your visit.
The minimum age requirement for access and treatments in Body & Soul is 12 years.

HEALTH CONDITIONS
Kindly advise us of any health conditions, allergies or injuries which could affect your
service while making your Spa reservation.
CANCELLATION POLICY
A 50% cancellation charge will be incurred for any treatment or Spa program not
cancelled at least 24 hours prior to appointment. Cancellation within 12 hours will
incur a 100% charge.
PREGNANCY
We have specially designed treatments for expectant and nursing mothers. Please allow
our Spa team to guide you in selecting which treatments are most suitable for you
during this special time.
HOMECARE
To continue your Spa regime and experience at home, all Aromatherapy products used
in the treatments are available from the Spa reception.
