Concert in October. The event commemorates Breast Cancer Awareness Month while honoring
timeless music and legends in the making. Pink Alive serves as a purpose to educate men and women
about early detection and to continue to find a cure for the disease.

ERIC ROBERSON: GRAMMY Award Nominee Singer/Songwriter/Producer
Eric Roberson continues to break boundaries as an independent artist in an industry dominated by major labels, manufactured sounds and
mainstream radio. Erro, as he is affectionately known by fans and friends alike, has achieved major milestones in his career, from being a successful
songwriter and producer for notable artists like Jill Scott, Musiq Soulchild, Dwele, Vivian Green and countless others, to releasing 9 albums under
his Blue Erro Soul imprint.
This Rahway, NJ native and Howard University alum has been nominated in both 2010 and 2011 for a GRAMMY Award in the Best Urban/
Alternative Performance category and continues to blaze trails unheard of from an independent artist. In 2011 his studio album, “Mister Nice Guy”,
debuted in the top 5 on the iTunes R&B/Soul Charts. Recently Eric released a collaboration album “B-Sides, Features and Heartaches” as a thank
you album to his fans. The album represents 10 years of collaboration with some of his favorite independent artists in the soul movement. Eric is set
to release his 8th studio album in the fall of 2014.
DONTAE WINSLOW & WINSLOWDYNASTY: Trumpeter / Music Producer/Songwriter/Arranger
Dontae is currently on tour with the Justin Timberlake 20/20 Experience World Tour, and has performed on SNL, Jimmy Kimmel, and Ellen. Dontae
has also written songs for Jay-Z, Kanye, Keyshia Cole, Mary Mary and Kendrick Lamar.
Dontae Winslow & Winslow Dynasty latest album “Enter The Dynasty "features guest appearances by Quest Love, Chick Corea, Roy Hargrove and
Dennis Chambers. His trumpet is heard around the world from Aloe Blacc's "I'm The Man" Beats By Dre commercial to Tyler Perry's "Haves and
Havenots" TV Show Theme song. Dontae also performs with the Soulful Symphony and composed the music to the Robert Townsend movie "In
The Hive" featuring Oscar winner Michael Clarke Duncan, Loretta Divine, and Vivica Fox.
WinslowDynasty is a music group with a mission to change the world and inspire a renaissance in creative art. Dontae Winslow is a featured
member on trumpet/ production and vocals, while Mashica Winslow is a featured member who lends her angelic vocals/songwriting and stellar
arranging abilities. Their formidable alliance comprises styles of Jazz, Soul, Urban Poetry (Hip Hop) and Rhythm and Blues music.
Laurin Talese: Jazz Singer / Songwriter
Naturally gifted yet exceptionally well-trained, Laurin Talese has been amazing audiences with her stunning voice since the age of 10. As a native of
Cleveland School of the Arts where she began to receive wide spread notoriety, as a promising young vocalist. After completing high School, Laurin
relocated to Philadelphia where she attended the University of the Arts and subsequently received a Bachelor of Music degree in Voice. Although
Laurin’s greatest affinity is jazz, she is quite an accomplished vocalist in many musical genres. She has worked with numerous American national
recording Artist such as Jaguar Wright, Bilal, Robert Glasper, Vivian Green and international acclaimed Mozateum Orchestra of Salzburg, Austria.
Laurin’s enchanting talent has afforded her the opportunity to perform throughout Europe including the UK,The Netherlands, Belgium, German and
Austria as well as Asia, Brazil, and 30 of the states that comprise the continental United States.In perfect complement to her effortless vocal abilities,
Laurin is also an eminently gifted and a very passionate songwriter. It is the union of her pure tone and poignant lyrics that enchant so many who
desire to hear her sing. As she aspires to maintain musical excellence, Laurin Talese continues to dazzle spectators with her impeccable skills and
elegant, intimate performances.
Laurin can be seen performing in Philadelphia and the Tri-State area where patrons enjoy the alluring songstress as she seamlessly blends standard
jazz ballads, classical art songs, and original tunes for an unforgettable performance experience that is beyond category. Recently, Laurin partnered
with Internationally acclaimed Music Director/Producer Adam Blackstone of Bassic Black Entertainment (BBE), who produced her well received
buzz single “Dead Precedence,” released in 2012 . This winter Laurin’s debut EP will release, which was produced by Bassic Black Entertainment.
Vertical Current: Jazz, Funk, Musicians, Singers, Songwriters
Bringing the mass appeal of pop music, the charisma of jazz, the groove of funk, and the soul of gospel, Vertical Current is not your typical
ensemble! Since the formation of the band in 2009, “VC” has been busy crafting fresh and exciting original music by harnessing the skill and
experience of its members and tapping into the vibrant creative energy of the incredible musical community surrounding them, which has resulted in
a unique and powerful sound.
Individually, the members of Vertical Current have traveled throughout the world, performing and / or recording with a variety of top
billed artist, including Earth Wind & Fire, Roberta Flack, The Roots, Michael McDonald, J Cole, Guy, Tye Tribbett and an array of
celebrated and award winning artists. As a band, VC has been honored to accompany/share the bill with incredible acts like Robert
Glasper Experiment, Eric Roberson, Jessica Reedy from BET’s Sunday Best, and Cory Henry of Snarky Puppy to name a few. Not
surprisingly, their interaction with such amazing artists and composers has further kindled Vertical Current’s passion to create and
perform at the highest level.
The Band is excited to share their compositions and dynamic live performances with the world! Following up their eclectic 2011
debut EP “aRe” (produced by Philadelphia hit-maker Donald Robinson), VC’s first full-length project “Bright Side of Midnight” and
live studio DVD recording are currently in the final stages of production, and due to be released this year. Vertical Current is poised to
take flight, and invites you to join them on their journey!
