Baptisms are held on the second Sunday of every
month at 1:30pm. Please call the Rectory at least
one month before to make arrangements.

18TH ANNUAL ST. THERESA FEAST
Our 18th Annual Feast is over and as in other years it was Great! Our Feast gives us a closer connection to our parish and our
community. The weather was on our side except for a little rain on Wednesday toward the end of the day. The weather did not stop our
neighbors and parishioners from enjoying good food, rides, games, religious observances and great entertainment.
The Feast Committee would like to say thank you to everyone who helped make the feast the success that it always is. Once again, as
always, our community came together to make the feast a great success. All of this would not have been possible if not for our many
wonderful and dedicated volunteers who worked non-stop during the five days of the feast.
A very sincere Thank You goes out to Lou Aurrichio and the Feast Committee who, if not for their dedication and hard work, our feast
would not be the wonderful and successful parish and community event that it is.
We ask all of our parishioners to join us and say thank you to those individuals who own homes or live within the immediate area of
our feast. We know that at times during the week of our feast those local residents are inconvenienced by the noise or because of the lack
of parking. Thank you all for your patience and understanding. Many of them have told us that these inconveniences are greatly
outweighed by the good that our feast does for our community and our parish.

for Public School Children
Ongoing formation in the Catholic faith is vital for every parish
child who attends public school.
CCD Registration for students in Grades 1 through 7 is taking
place now. NEW STUDENTS ARE ALWAYS WELCOME.
Grades 1, 2, 3, and the Communion Class have class on Sunday
mornings from 9:00 – 10:20 a.m.
Grades 4, 5, 6, and 7 have class on Wednesday evenings from
7:00 – 8:30 p.m.

RCIA: Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults
New classes are forming in St. Theresa Parish for Fall 2014.
RCIA is a process for adults who are interested in learning more
about the Catholic faith leading to becoming a member of the
Catholic Church.
Baptized Catholics who have not yet received the sacraments of
Holy Eucharist and/or Confirmation are welcome to complete
their preparation for the sacraments of initiation through
participation in the RCIA process. The sacraments will be
administered at the Easter Vigil which is on April 4, 2015.

RICA: Rito de Iniciacion Cristiana Para Adultos
Estamos en el proceso de formación de clases para el Otoño
2014. RICA es un proceso para adultos que estan interesados en
aprender más acerca de la fé católica para llegara ser miembro de
la Iglesia Católica.
Católicos bautizados que no han recibido los sacramentos de
Primera Comunión y lo Confirmación están invitados a completer
su preparación para los sacramentos de Iniciación a traves del
proceso de RICA. Los sacramentos serán administrados durante
la Vigilia Pascual el 4 de abril, 2015.

St. Theresa Parish is blessed with many dedicated volunteers
who help to pass on our faith to the children of our parish
who attend public school, but there is always room for more.
We would welcome catechists, substitute catechists, hall
monitors, and classroom aides for our Sunday morning or
Wednesday evening religion classes.

DONATIONS FOR SANCTUARY LAMP
Over the past few years many people have asked how they can
memorialize their loved ones. Of course we have the “Tree of
Life” which is a permanent memorial, but then there are those of
us who want to do something on a weekly basis. Over the past
few years we began taking donations for Altar Bread in memory
of our loved ones, and each week their name and the name of the
donor is posted in the bulletin. We are also taking donations for
the burning of the Sanctuary Lamp. If you are interested in
memorializing your loved one in any way, please call the Rectory
and reserve a week. We hope this will help those who want to
remember their loved ones in any of these ways.
REMINDER – If you have a Sunday Mass offered for a loved
one and are present at the Mass and would like to bring up the
Offertory Gifts to the Altar, please let one of the ushers know
before the Mass begins.
