The revised Collective Wage Agreement for Vocational Training in the
Construction Industry (BBTV) came into force on 6 August 2010. In this context
the parties to the collective wage agreement in the construction industry are
introducing quality criteria for inter-company training facilities.
The satisfaction of quality requirements must be proven by means of certification
by an agency authorised by SOKA-BAU to perform quality control. In a
multi-stage selection procedure the decision was made in favour of DEKRA as a
partner for conducting the inspection.
DEKRA had presented a conclusive concept and demonstrated the regional
availability of suitably qualified auditors.tion

CUSTOMER BENEFITS
Great importance has always been attached to the quality of inter-company
training in the construction industry. The aim is to inspect all inter-company
training facilities in the construction industry for the first time according to a
uniform, binding minimum standard for all of Germany. The audit relates to the
inter-company training facility in general, the teaching and learning
structures, the material-technical prerequisites, personnel requirements and
the residential accommodation used.
With this clear commitment to the quality of training, the construction industry is
also taking a forward-looking stand in the competition between industries for
young skilled employees.
