Site served campaigns information

Site served assets refers to creative assets used in Standard Display ads, hosted and served by Kidspot on
behalf of an advertiser that chooses not to utilise a 3rd party ad serving vendor. (ie. If you are sending actual
creative assets to Kidspot to serve and track) File weights and flash version tend to be very strict.

clickTag is an industry-wide standard method to enable the measurement of user clicks on Flash rich media
creatives. All Flash files submitted should be accompanied with a backup gif or jpg image of the same
dimensions, along with a click-through URL.

The instructions below refer to site-served Flash creatives hosted by Kidspot. For clickTag instructions relating
to 3rd party served creatives, refer to your 3rd party vendor support documentation as instructions for each
may vary.

clickTag INSTRUCTIONS: Insert a transparent button onto the top-most layer of your Flash creative and assign
the following as an on release action:

Note: Your Flash files will be returned for revision if your clickTag implementation is incorrect or incompatible
with Kidspot ad serving systems.
3rd party served campaigns

For clickTag instructions for 3rd party served creative – pls see your vendor instructions (these will differ to our
requirements)

Polite download is allowed on our sites. Please contact your Kidspot Campaign Manager for further advice.

Approved 3rd party vendors : Doubleclick, Mediamind, Facilitate, Atlas, Mediaplex. If you wish to use a vendor
not part of tihs list, please contact your Campaign Manager to arrange testing/DFP certification.

All 3rd party redirects must be live when submitted, to enable thorough testing before creatives go live. All
3rd party ad serving charges are the responsibility of the advertiser or agency.

NLM Parenting reserves the right to remove from rotation or request the removal/revision of any creative that
is deemed unsuitable for users of our sites.

Are you planning to run a retargeting campaign behind your tags? The setting of 3rd or 4th party cookies on
Kidspot sites for re-targeting or any other user tracking purposes is not permitted without prior approval from
NLM Parenting sites. Creatives featuring unauthorised connections to external servers for the purposes of user
tracking will be removed from rotation. Creatives can be returned to rotation once unauthorised connections
have been removed.

Fade out floating ad
What is a Fade Out ad?
On page load, the floating element loads and plays over the page content, dimming the background. The ad remains
until the user clicks the close button.
All floating ads will be frequency capped at once per user per day.
The floating element is the visible portion of the ad which floats over content.
Upon Ad Load, the background is dimmed but content much still be legible.
