Our unique program teaches many aspects of horsemanship including hunt seat riding, grooming techniques, feeding requirements, equipment use and care, along with basic veterinary and farrier knowledge. Summer camp also includes fun and educational activities such as crafts, horse-related games and daily demonstrations. Our individualized program is limited to 8 students per session so early registration is encouraged! Attending multiple sessions throughout the summer is an excellent way to learn about horses and have fun. The highly qualified and professional staff at Helicon is dedicated to ensuring all children both enjoy camp and learn. Our horses and ponies are well suited to a wide range of riding abilities. We encourage you to visit to Helicon to meet our instructors, horses, and ponies. Our beautiful setting is perfect for hours of horse fun!
