Book Online! 01855 413203 | www.seaxplorer.co.uk Cycling and Walking Path Glencoe to Appin A multi-use path runs from Glencoe Village to just south of Ballachulish Bridge, where it joins a lovely path (National Cycle Network route 78) along the disused railway to Kentallen. Enjoy a gentle cycle or take in the wonderful coastal scenery on foot. The path continues south over the hill to Duror and as National Route 78 is not yet complete, a gap exists south of Duror. Further south, the route continues on purpose built path onward to Appin and Oban. These paths are part of the National Cycle Network, which is coordinated and promoted by Sustrans, the sustainable transport charity. For more information, see www.sustrans.org.uk. The path from Ballachulish to Glencoe village is maintained by Transport Scotland and the path shown on the north side of the River Coe provides a scenic orbital route of Glencoe village. H Map Key: Righ Falls - Inchree, Onich This beautiful bay with its truly panoramic views and stunning setting is a peaceful and relaxing spot. From the shingle and sand shoreline there are unrestricted views towards the islands of Balnagowan, Lismore and Shuna. As an extended walk why not join the forestry path from Achadh nan Darach car park all the way through forest and sweeping glen to Ballachulish Village. 4 A Glencoe & North Lorn Folk Museum Glencoe Experience SEGWAY and over 25 other amazing activities on offer around this historic and beautiful glen: including fast boat wildlife tours, canyoning, golf course, electric bikes & Via Ferrata. A word of advice: remember if you’re going into the outdoors; wear comfortable shoes, be prepared for changing weather conditions and tell someone where you’re going and when you’ll be back. It’s a good idea to carry a map & compass if you’re planning one of the more strenuous walks detailed. A variety of easy trails exist to lead you round the manmade Lochan. Year around, the colours at the Lochan are quite spectacular. West To Fort William ve Ri Glencoe is without doubt one of the most famous and iconic of all Scottish Glens, located only a short 2 hour drive from central Scotland on the A82. Corran Ferry The Lost Valley, Glencoe The Lost Valley is always a popular walk but it is a bit more strenuous than some of the low level walks in the area. The valley runs between Gearr Aonach and Ben Fhada, two of the Three Sisters of Glencoe, and offers a good mountain experience without too much effort. I The Devil’s Staircase, Altnafeadh to Kinlochleven The Devil’s Staircase goes from Altnafeadh to Kinlochleven and forms part of the West Highland Way.
