Dear Tour Operator,
we would like to present you a new tourist opportunity in the Territory of the
Biellese between Milan and Tourin in the North West of Italy.
Nature, Historic Castles-Villages, Crafts and Gastronomic-Textile Shopping of
Excellence are the amusing ingredients of leisure Tours in this very nice, but
scarcely known land.
Biella , one of the chapter of the Textile Industry in Italy, holds some of the most
famous quality textile brands. This gives the opportunity of unique shopping
in their Factory Outlets. Furthermore the Biellese is called: the water-green
territory, because of the many relaxing wooded hills, lakes and torrents flowing
in its unique wild savannah. Medieval villages and works of the Renaissance
may be discovered among the vineyards and the fields that produce the peculiar wines, cheeses and rice that distinguish this land.
Andar per Borghi nel Biellese, a tourism promotion association among the administrations of the key historical villages, in patnership with Bugella Welcome
by Scaramuzzi Viaggi, one of the key tourist operator in Piemonte, is launching this email campaign to develop a discovery tourism from the european
countries, taking benefits also from our relative low tourist prices. We propose here 2 sample itineraries that combine our key touristic attractions
in a tailorable week end long tour: suitable for groups of about 30 - 45 people,
as well as of 3 - 7 people with small coach and local guide.
We can build and integrate tours, a week long, with visits of the other tourist
attractions nearby, like: Tourin, La Venaria, Milan, lake Maggiore, Aosta Valley
and also Langhe (for a very amusing wines tour).
I hope to welcome you in Biella very soon.

saturday
In the morning, witness gold digging by the Gold Diggers Association, walk in
the Bessa Natural Reserve, visit the Gold Museum. Then, with the feet in your
boots, try sifting through the soil of the river in search of the precious metal,
in this ancient Roman aurifondina, an open-air gold mine used in the second
century BC. Lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, visit of Ricetto di
Magnano and the beautiful Romanesque church of San Secondo. Wine tasting
at Enoteca Regionale della Serra inside the Roppolo castle. Dinner with a lake
menu and overnight on the banks of the Viverone lake.
sunday
Morning tour of Masserano: Palazzo dei Principi and its enchanting
medieval part, nestled among the vineyards producing Lessona and
Bramaterra. Through the Biellese savannah, a vast plateau, similar to the
distant savannah, which is tinged with diverse colors, and always with
the background of the mountains, visit the typical Enoteca of the Castello
of Castellengo, the nice Renaissance church of Saint Peter in Benna and
reach the Ricetto, in Candelo. This is the best preserved of all ricetti in
Piedmont, and represents the memory of the people of Candelo, who
used it as a storage area for agricultural products at peacetime and as
a shelter during times of war or danger. It has been preserved thanks
to its peasant origin; in fact, until just a few years ago people used the
“cells” to make wine and for safe storage of their harvests. Lunch at a
local restaurant and tour of the Ricetto. Wine tasting before departure.
End of packet tour, departure.
