INFORMATION
The Ironwood Ridge High School Volleyball Program is one of the finest volleyball programs
in Arizona. The past ten years, the Nighthawks have been ranked in the State’s top 10
including being the State’s number 1 ranked team in 2005, 2007, 2009, 2010, and 2013.
Locally, Ironwood Ridge has won the Region Championship the last seven seasons.
Located in Oro Valley, Ironwood Ridge is a member of the Arizona Interscholastic
Association. Since 2007, the Nighthawks compete in the 5A conference.
Those in attendance at a volleyball match will not only be viewing interscholastic athletics
at its best, but will also be enjoying a high school volleyball environment unlike any other
in the state. Ironwood Ridge boasts Arizona’s only volleyball-only venue, creating a unique
experience for the players and fans!
In addition to providing an entertaining product, the Nighthawks strive for and focus on
success in the classroom. Our student-athletes maintain some of the highest GPA’s on
campus. Ironwood Ridge has earned the American Volleyball Coaches’ Association’s
national Team Academic Award thirteen years in a row!

Ironwood Ridge Volleyball has boosted a 68-4 overall home court record. The Volleyball Venue at
Ironwood Ridge High School was selected by prepvolleyball.com and ESPNHS.com as the “Best
Home Court Advantage” in the nation! Last season, Ironwood Ridge hopes to earn Win #100 in the
Nighthawk Gym!
The 425-seat facility hosts the volleyball teams on their own court, creating an imitate environment with
a boisterous home court advantage. The outstanding athletic facilities at Ironwood Ridge offers a
tremendous opportunity for your business to gain exposure during our volleyball events.
Fan Demographics: Who are Nighthawk Volleyball Fans? Typical
fans are between the ages of 15-58 with a big part of the
group being our student body. The other large group includes
parents, siblings, grandparents, and alumni from the school.

business! The Ironwood Ridge fan base is largely suburban,

Volleyball Media Guide
The Ironwood Ridge Volleyball Media Guide is the exclusive program available
at every Nighthawks home match. The program is a reference source for player
rosters, statistics, program history and team news. This attractive publication is
provided to all Nighthawk fans at every home game and is an excellent medium to advertise your product or service.

In the past four years, Ironwood Ridge Volleyball has hosted the first rounds of the State Tournament as one of the top seeds.
Local businesses can sponsor the first and/or second round by offsetting the admission for the student body. Sponsorship may
include recognition on crowd t-shirts, game program, and public address announcements.
