DDEOC Gradebook District Assessments (For Teachers) Information Technology Services (ITS) has developed a From the Employee Portal page, new District Assessment selection in the Gradebook for teachers to record scores for District Designated End-OfCourse (DDEOC) and Teacher-Principal Assessments courses. The District Assessment selection is located within the Gradebook application in the Employee Portal. This user guide will assist Teachers to access the District Assessment selection in Gradebook, attach the DDEOC or Teacher-Principal Assessment to a course and enter the students’ scores. ▼ Click Applications | Services | Sites tab The Applications | Services | Sites page will display. Access The Employee Portal From Dadeschools.net page, log into the Employee Portal, ▼ Select ▼ Click Portal tab ▼ Select Employees Gradebook (Pinnacle) The Sign in screen will display. Log in with your employee ID and password. The Dadeschools.net Portal Login screen will display. ▼ Type ▼ Type ▼ Click ▼ Type your Username ▼ Type your Password ▼ Click Login your Username your Password Sign in The Gradebook Home page will display. The Employee Portal page will display. The information on this page is pre-set. To save the information, Gradebook District Assessment From the Gradebook Home page, in the navigation bar, ▼ Click ▼ Select Save The message “The assignment has been saved” will be displayed. Gradebook Grid The Gradebook Grid page will display. In the Assignments empty column, ▼ Click ▼ Click on New... Close Entering a Score The New Assignment page opens. Once the assignment has been created by saving it, you can enter the scores into the District Assessment, DDEOC or Teacher-Principal Assessment course column. To view the DDEOC or Teacher-Principal Assessment course column, access the Gradebook Grid page. ▼ Click From the Gradebook Grid page, District Assessment tab The District Assessment courses will display. Scroll down to locate the DDEOC or Teacher-Principal Assessment. ▼ Click ▼ Select ▼ Select ▼ Click The District Assessment tab will open with the new defined DDEOC or Teacher-Principal Assessment’s column. The 100X0 means, 100% = the maximum score. Start entering the scores for each student. ▼ Click ▼ Type on the field the score number If a score above the maximum of 100 is entered, the initials Max will appear by the % sign. See sample above. If you made a mistake entering one of the scores, simply click in the field and type the correct number This information saves automatically. When finished entering the scores, sign out of the Gradebook application. ▼ Click Sign out in the upper right corner of the page Course List For DDEOC The list of courses for which the District has created DDEOCs can be found at: http://oada.dadeschools.net/DDEOC/DDEOC.asp Note that Teacher-Principal Assessments can only be created when there is no DDEOC.
