A Message from the Los Angeles Archdiocese
The Archdiocese of Los Angeles received an allegation that Father Jose G. Mejia was involved in inappropriate conduct with a minor in the mid 1980’s,
while he was a Seminarian in another diocese. He
transferred to St. John’s Seminary and became a
priest for the Archdiocese of Los Angeles in 1991.
Father Mejia served in this parish from July 1995 to
September 1995. He has been placed on administrative leave effective Friday, March 13, 2015, pending
the outcome of the investigation of the allegation. If
you have any information or concerns, please call
Suzanne Healy, Victims Assistance Coordinator, at
(213) 637-7650. Please continue to pray for those
impacted by this matter.
julio 1995 a septiembre 1995.

WE NEED YOUR PERSONAL STORIES
We would like to collect as many personal stories as
possible about St. John Vianney parish- past, present
and future. These stories could be anything from
memories of Fr. “O”, Early California Days, how the
parish has influenced your life, how did the fire of
our Church affect your life or the lives of the Community. We also look forward to identifying ways
that the non-Catholic community may have been
affected by the destruction of our Church. Also, we
would like to know what you are looking forward to
in the new Church. You may be asked to narrate
your stores on a video. Please drop a copy of your
story off at the Corpus Christi Center. Thank you
for your help.
