The Burton European Open is a contest open to everyone. From
13.1. until 19.1.2014, two TTR 6 star competitions – slopestyle and
halfpipe – will take place in the Snow Park in LAAX. At the Burton
European Open, the world’s best riders, amateurs who are at the
beginning of their career and children and teenagers from 8 to 14
years, all come together to showcase the sport of snowboarding.

Catholic parish church "Maria Himmelfahrt". The renovation of the
church led to the discovery that there had been at least four key
building stages involving predecessor churches on the current site of
the Marienkirche in Sagogn. The oldest dates back to the 4th or 5th
century. The ground plan of the church has remained identical for over
1500 years; something quite exceptional for Central Europe, where
the churches started out small and became larger and larger.

In Trin Mulin guests will find an alternative to the hectic skiing on the mountain. The
very diverse 17 km-length double-track cross-country skiing trail offers fitness and
relaxation at the same time – using the classic and skating techniques. An ideal terrain
for lovers of recreational and competitive cross-country skiing alike.
THE CHOICE IS yOUrS
OUr SUNSHINE
leads you 12 km above the plains of Trin-Mulin. After
your exertions the Ustria Parlatsch, directly next to
the trail, tempts you with Grisons specialities or fine
nut croissants.
OUr JEwEL
is the trail to the Cresta Lake. Worth a visit in winter
too.
OUr MAgICAL TrAIL
leads through the snow-covered winter forest, via the
Cresta Lake to Flims and after a spectacular view into
the Ruinaulta canyon, back towards Trin-Mulin.
SAFE ANd rELIABLE
is the 7.5 km long trail, that lies in the wonderful high
valley in Bargis.
OUr NIgHT OwL
is the 3.4 km long night trail. For those who do not
have time during the day, there is an illuminated night
trail (3 km) three times a week (Tuesday, Wednesday
and Thursday evening from 6 pm to 9.30 pm).
THE BASIS
In the cross-country centre Prau Davon, located directly on the trail, you can easily rent your cross-country skis or book an individual course at the crosscountry skiing school.
Guided full-moon snow shoe walks take place from
January until March 2014 in Trin, organized by the Trin
Tourist Information Office.

TrIN – A vILLAgE wITH TrAdITIONS
Trin, the cosy village with its three areas Trin, TrinDigg and Trin-Mulin, is situated on a wonderful sun
terrace at the gate to the Surselva. Hourly buses connect the holiday village with Chur (12 km) and Flims
(5 km).
The castle ruins of Canaschal and Crap Sogn Parcazi
tower above the village and point to the historic background of Trin.
Every Friday morning in the bakery at Trin-Digg, called
"pastrin", fresh bread is baked in the wood oven. Spectators, stokers or baking assistants are welcome at
any time. The women of Trin would be pleased to show
you how to bake your own "original Digger wood oven
bread". You can enquire about the next baking sessions at the Trin Tourist Information Office.

Our unspoilt and family-friendly village at the edge of
the large ski area of Flims Laax Falera offers everything
for a relaxing holiday. Away from the transit traffic but
nevertheless close to the ski area, here you will find
everything you are looking for, for a carefree and relaxing holiday. The surrounding panorama with the luminous mountain ridges allows you to enjoy the peace.
Winter HIKES in unique
countryside
The spacious network of winter hiking trails above the
"Plaun da Sagogn" leads as far as Schluein and invite you
to walk through the snowy winter landscape in all
weathers. Even children are catered for: behind the
church there is a prepared practice slope for tobogga­
ners and bobsleighers. As the paths are largely flat and
lie in sunny areas, even elderly guests feel comfortable.
The winter hiking trails are signed in pink and, like the
turquoise blue-signed trails, are regularly and very well
maintained. The PostAuto bus stop "vitg dado" and car
parks are only a few metres from the start and end of
the trail at the Canzlia communala (town hall).
15 km cross-country skiing trails –
pure enjoyment
You can check your ability and technique at the 15.5 km
cross-country skiing trail (classic and skating). Our
trails are easy to moderate difficulty and suitable for
anyone. Your dog may also accompany you on the approx. 1 km trail specially prepared for this purpose. For
night-time revellers and those of a more competitive
nature, there is a night trail (2.5 km) which is lit up on
Tuesdays and Thursdays.
You can rent cross-country ski equipment and book
cross-country skiing lessons in the "Tegia Nordica"
(Clubhaus Selvaclub), which will help you optimize your
technique. You can also get hot drinks, warming coffees and snacks here.
