Welcome to J-Sei’s third annual Flavors of
Spring, benefitting the Senior Center activities
and programs that help older adults in the
East Bay community.
We wish to extend a special thanks to the
sponsors, restaurants, wineries, breweries,
performers, and Mari Nakamura Design for
creating such a wonderful event and experience.
Your generous contribution of time and talent
is a main ingredient in tonight’s success and
we are honored to have your support.
This is a momentous year for J-Sei. We will soon
be moving into a beautiful building where we will
consolidate all of our programs and administration.
Thank you to our many guests. We invite you
to sample the excellent tastes and sips, while
indulging yourself by bidding on the silent
auction items located throughout the venue.
We are grateful for your support and encourage
you to support our participating restaurants
and establishments throughout the year.
Our new building will allow us to better serve
seniors and to create new programs for younger
generations. Thank you so much for your generous
support of our current meal program, educational
workshops, family support services, and cultural
classes. We look forward to welcoming you to
J-Sei's new home.
Finally, thank you to the planning committee,
J-Sei Board, staff, volunteers and the Berkeley
City Club. All of you provided tireless support
and energy to make this evening a great success..
