Introduction
Dear readers, motor sports fans and AGH Racing
Team supporters,
the upcoming season - 2015/2016 - is the fourth
historical season for AGH Racing Team. We are aware
that this time will be filled with technological and
organisational challenges - however, having three
years of experience and starting in several International Formula Student Competitions, we are heading for
it with great courage. Amongst polish racing teams we
are one of the a few that builds a new car every year and therefore, we are able to compete with other
racing group from the best universities. Results from
the latest season are very promising, which motivate
us to work even harder.
As for now, we managed to cooperate with many
companies, gain support form our uvinversity and built
a close relations network with automotive enterpreneurs - it may be the incontestable evidence, that AGH
Racing became a recognizable brand. Not only do we
practically educate young, gifted engineers, but also, by combining work and passion, creating employees
of the future, which are highly desirable. Innovative, resourceful, precise - they are ready to face the challenges of the world and take opportunities, such as

About us
Young, ambitious, creative students, constantly developing skills, facing many
challenges in favor of better, faster and dependable single seater racing vehicle - this
could be the shortest, also most accurate, description of our AGH Racing Team. We
have just ended the third season of International Formula Student Competition.
Taking part in FS Spain (Circuit de Catalunya - Barcelona), FS Hungary (Gyor) and FS
Italy (Autodromo Riccardo Paletti, Varano) was a extreme test for us, but a great
adventure as well. This season, we plan to try our hand at FS UK (Silverstone) and FS
Germany (Hockenheim).
AGH Racing Team dates back to 2012, when a small group of moto-enthusiast
students from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Robotics decided to build
a race car - and soon noticed growing popularity among other students and University authorities. Our project won the title of “The Best Student Project at AGH-UST
2013”, and our supervisor - Daniel Prusak, Ph. D., was honored with “Citizen of the
Year 2013” title.

Formula Student
International Formula Student Competition is dedicated to students from technical universities all over the world. The main task for groups is to create a racing vehicle, that will fulfill strict requirements related to building process, presence, driveability but also safety issues. This kind of events usually take place on F1 racetracks. For
students, it is great opportunity.
Competition consists of two parts - static and dynamic. Dynamic Events contain
Acceleration, Skid Pad, Autocross, Efficiency and Endurance - whilst Static Events
include Technical Inspection, Cost and Manufacturing, Presentation and Design. All of
the above are conducted to check vehicle’s properties. Maximally, team can gain 1000
points - the more to get, the closer to win whole tournament.
