SAVE THE DATE - The Annual Mid-Winter Seminar will be held in Ixtapa, Mexico,
January 7th - 14th, 2017. The Mid-Winter Seminar presents topics related to issues of importance to
the banking industry in a relaxed and informal atmosphere. The location is selected for its resort
appeal and beautiful January weather.
Saturday & Sunday are free days to arrive and explore the beautiful beach area at your leisure. MIBA
will host an evening Hospitality Suite each night in the Palmar Suite. Tuesday - Friday will feature
breakfast & speaker sessions until 11:30am, with late afternoon group/peer discussion of indus-try
issues. Evenings on these days will be on your own with the exception of Thursday evening, which
will feature an MIBA Sundown Reception & Dinner. (7 nights) Saturday is a travel day.

ACCOMODATIONS - The Barcelo Ixtapa Beach Resort is found on the beautiful Mexican Pacific,
where sun, surf and the liveliest atmosphere are combined. Each Premium Club Level room at the

Mid-Winter Seminar registration fee due from each attendee: $250 per person
To be billed by the MIBA in December. For those not using MIBA’s land package or a revised date version of
it, registration fee will be $400 per person.
Booking Procedure
Contact Michelle Lawson at the MIBA office. Michelle will need: 1) Full legal names as they appear on
passport. You will need to show passport at hotel check-in; 2) Credit card, expiration date, 3 digit security
code, name on card, billing address for card; 3) Home address, home, work and cell numbers; 4) E-mails; 5)
Insurance – if purchased separately. Package is nonrefundable if insurance is not purchased.
