Seriously missing some of the master open source fonts from
URW/TeX, Linux Libertine, DejaVu, Liberation and many more

that deliver content to the world elegantly, not just pretty stuff.
Few of the fonts mentions include OTF/CSS font features. Get
MEgalopolis up there at least, just for fun.
Having said that... A great resource for the ASCII folks out there,
and where design for a-z A-Z is the thing simply great.

For the guy who asked about a nice free font manager:

I use it, its simple, flexible and I love it.

Normally when I see an article about downloading free things, I get
a bit sceptic. Simply because it normally is just a way to get clicks

on ads.
Now, I just registered to this blog so I could comment on this
particular post because I am pleasantly surprised by the quality of
the fonts and the fact that they all can be downloaded for free.
This time it proved to be true, so thank you for a great post and
some new great font to put to my library!

Fonts can really make or break a design and especially when you
work a new project. I always remind myself of taking a step back

Clean and easy to read fonts on a website is the way to go. On
http://www.snöslungan.com we've worked on acheaving that with
really basic fonts. It may be a weird example, but it works.
We are actually going to A/B test the headers with the current font
and the Denise font. It's all in the details.
Great read, thanks!

are to me. My sister and I literally sat together for the past hour
