Symbols of Poland To beautiful mountains The capital of Poland Cracow – the most famous historical town CRACOW The monument of Adam Mickiewicz – Polish poet, patron of our school The Pope John Paul II was from Poland Żywiec coat-of -arms ŻYWIEC FOLK COSTUMES The town is situated in Beskidy mountains, in the southern part of Poland Majestic peaks,charming valleys and many scenic viewpoints from the beautiful and varied scenery of the Żywiec area. The climate is different from the climate in another regions of Poland. Only here you can do every kind of sport the whole year round. Sailing, paragliding, cycling, horse - riding in summer There are numerous monuments including the Old Castle, Habsburg Palace, Chinese House in the middle of the park and the Cathedral Church from the 15th century.
