Hannity Freedom Concerts in New Jersey
and California Honor Our Troops
Country music’s finest entertain sell-out crowds
T
his year Freedom Alliance, along with
Sean Hannity, held two tremendous
FREEDOM CONCERTS. On July 21
with hosts, Six Flags Great Adventure
and News Talk Radio 77 WABC in New
York, the Fourth Annual Hannity Freedom
Concert featured country music superstars
Hank Williams, Jr., Sara Evans and Lee
Greenwood.
August 2 brought a second concert at the
Coors Amphitheatre in San Diego, hosted
by 760 KFMB Radio and the House of
Blues, which featured KFMB radio star, Rick
Roberts, Sean Hannity and Ollie North.
A star-studded country music lineup included
Hank Williams, Jr., Lee Greenwood, and
legend Charlie Daniels along with his band,
which rocked the crowd. Tony Orlando also
opened the Freedom Concert with his famous
“Tie A Yellow Ribbon ‘Round The Ole’ Oak
Tree” honoring the troops and their families.

Gold Star Families and Wounded Warriors Honored at Freedom Concert

reedom Alliance was proud to have six
Gold Star Families from Fort Hood, Texas
(who have lost loved ones during the
War on Terror) as special guests for the New
Jersey Freedom Concert.
On Freedom Concert day, all the Gold
Star Families were greeted at Six Flags Great
Adventure and all their children were given
“Go-To-The-Front-Of-The-Line” passes for all
the incredible rides. The families were treated
to lunch with Freedom Alliance Founder and
Honorary Chairman, LtCol Oliver North, who
visited with them, expressing appreciation for
Freedom Alliance was privileged
to bring 57 Wounded Warriors
and their families from Walter
Reed Medical Center and
Bethesda Naval Hospital to
the Freedom Concert at Six
Flags Great Adventure. They
were given special treatment,
including lunch and dinner
with LtCol Oliver North. Sean
Hannity also visited with them
and their day concluded with a
hero’s welcome and a standing
ovation from the huge crowd of
patriotic Americans.

Among the Gold Star Families were five mothers (widows), who

Families enjoyed the Freedom Concert
while Sean and Ollie and the crowd
of over 14,000 gave them a five-minute standing ovation and thunderous
applause.
Thanks to all whose generous support enabled the Gold Star Families to
have an all-expense paid trip for three
days to the Freedom Concert. Our
deep appreciation goes to the Wal*Mart
corporation and Mr. Rick Schofield of
Virginia for their special gifts in support
of this most noble cause.

Both concerts benefited the
Freedom Alliance Scholarship Fund,
which provides college scholarships to
children of our Armed Forces who have
sacrificed life or limb in defense of our
country. Freedom Alliance Scholarship
recipients Kristen Mancini, a student in
Washington, D.C., appeared at the New
Jersey Concert and southern California
students, Corinne and Shannon Snell,
attended the San Diego concert, representing hundreds of scholarship recipients from all across the country. Nearly
$1 million dollars was generated and will
go directly to the Scholarship Fund.
Sean Hannity surprised the crowd
by bringing some of our great troops in
Iraq to the San Diego Concert via satellite on jumbo outdoor screens. These
brave defenders of freedom talked live
with Ollie North and Sean Hannity, and
received a standing ovation from the
crowd and a thunderous applause in
appreciation of their service and sacrifice.

Dear Freedom Alliance,
Dear Freedom Alliance,
I would like to express my deepest gratitude for allowing me and my daughter,
Jessica, to be a part of this year’s Freedom Concert. It was so wonderful and
beneficial to my family that you have remembered that there is a family, hurt and
wounded, left behind by a dead soldier who gave the Ultimate Sacrifice for their
country.
From this experience, I have witnessed changes in the children that I have
known personally. I saw smiles and heard laughter. I believe that for all of us,
there was a definite uplift in our healing because Freedom Alliance took the time to
know us and to remember our children.
We have been given a task by God to take this horrible journey. Because of
your kindness and awareness of who and where we may be today, you showed us a
message, loud and clear, that we are not alone and helped change the direction of
our paths to one with more beauty and joy in our walk with grief.
I also wish to thank the donors of this beautiful country for making this
possible for the Gold Star Families who were able to attend. We are all in this
together: the Soldier, the Wounded, the Fallen, the Surviving
Family and the Patriot. Thank you for including us. I can
not even begin to tell you how heartfelt and uplifted I feel
for your gesture of compassion and kindness but also of your
gratitude toward Gold Star Families. Freedom Alliance, and
those affiliated with you, understand that we continue the
sacrifice of our Fallen Soldier.
Thank you for the kindness you have
shown the Fort Hood Gold Star Families.
I cannot tell you how much it means to
them, as well as to me, that you truly care
about these families. As an Army wife of
almost 25 years, I can tell you it means a
great deal.
I know it takes a lot of work and
effort to plan such an event as the
Freedom Concert and even more of a
challenge, to add the hosting of Gold Star
Families. I appreciate all that Freedom
Alliance and Debbie Clark (Freedom
Alliance staff member) did to coordinate
our trip to the Concert.
You all represent what is good and
right about our country. For the above
reasons, I express my deep appreciation for
what Freedom Alliance stands for, and
know that families who serve and other

Q: What are the most compelling grounds
for the divorce?
The UN undermines our rights as a free
people. Our Founding Fathers set up a system of government in which the people's
interests would be represented by their
elected leaders and national policy would
reflect the wishes of the electorate. Because
the UN is making so many inroads to our
politics, that dynamic is quickly eroding.
The public no longer has a say in matters of
international commerce – neither does the
Congress for that matter. Liberal politicians
want the UN Security Council to be responsible for American's national security. The
explosion of international treaties and institutions is impacting U.S. domestic law.
Q: Binding international treaties, which
originate at the UN and undermine
American sovereignty, are an increasing
danger. What new treaties are the globalists
at the UN cooking up now?
Diplomatic Divorce

and his army of utopian allies have set
their sights on our
Second Amendment
and our right to keep and
bear arms with a proposed Arms Trade
Treaty. The UN defines small arms as
“weapons designed for personal use” including “revolvers and self-loading pistols” and
“rifles.” Millions of Americans own and
use these kinds of firearms for hunting,
sport shooting and defending their person
and property. But to Kofi Annan, they are
“weapons of mass destruction.” Make no
mistake about it, the UN is on a fast track to
an Arms Trade Treaty that will undermine,
if not eradicate, the Second Amendment of
the United States Constitution.
